Micah looked over at the girl. "I'm sorry about him. He's a little…." He didn't know how to describe Marco. Edgy maybe? Whatever, that wasn't the point. "And…I don't think I can tell you why."

Phoebe put on a fake smile. “Nice to meet you, Ellis, but we’re in a bit of a hurry.”

Amber looked at Victoria. They had been hiding in the city. Victoria had discovered her powers of manipulation which made life on the streets lots easier. Vex approached them. "Tallies? I got 4."

Vex cocked his head. "Who are you, blonde boy?"

"Ya don't look like a Zeke. Ah, well, I'm Ashton." Vex said, knowing exactly what the blond boy was doing, and playing along with it.
