Bastian wrapped both arms around him, holding him tightly as he snuggled closer. He wish that Halo would have had a better first day. Maybe it would have been better if Bastian hadn't been there

Halo clutches to Bastian. "Thank you." He whispers softly.

“What for?” Bastian asked, his voice barely a murmur as he held Halo close

"Protecting me." He says quietly, barely above a whisper. He opens his eyes and gently kisses Bastian.

Bastian was about to say something when Halo kissed him. He gave in, his eyes falling shut as he kissed him back

Halo smiles softly, pulling away slowly. "I love you." He says quietly.

“I love you too,” Bastian murmured. He went to kiss him again, but was stopped by a yawn. Chuckling, he reached down and tugged the covers up over them

Halo nuzzles into him, smiling softly as he does so.

Bastian held him close, his eyes fluttering shut as he yawned again

Halo quickly fell asleep, his breathing even and slow.

Bastian woke up late in the morning, only an hour or two before lunch. He was generally pretty exhausted, especially after getting barely any sleep from when he had the nightmare the night before

Halo was still asleep, curled up still, gentle breaths escaping his lips. Some hair had fallen into his face and into his eyes.

Bastian yawned, stretching as much as he could with Halo pinning down one of his arms. He curled around him eventually, his face buried in the other's neck

Halo groans softly, nuzzling into the other and sighing softly when he felt the other shifted. He didn't wake up though, just continued to sleep.

Bastian smiled, pressing a kiss to Halo's cheek before sitting up. Gently, he pulled his arm out from under Halo before sliding out of bed. He looked down at himself, realizing he was still in his jeans and security t-shirt. He wandered over to his closet, rubbing at his eyes in the process

Halo shivers when the other left, suddenly feeling cold. "Come back…" He groans softly.

Bastian glanced over his shoulder when he heard Halo speak. "Just let me change real quick, babe," he said with a small chuckle. He swapped his previous clothes for just a pair of fuzzy sweatpants before crawling into bed with Halo

"Fine…" He whines before smiling when the other returned. He instantly clings to the other, sighing at his warmth and shutting his eyes again.

Bastian held him close, grinning sleepily as he cuddled them

"Mmm…" He hums softly, nuzzling the other happily. "Morning." He says sleepily.

"Mornin'," Bastian mumbled, smiling as he pressed a kiss to Halo's cheek and forehead

Halo smiles softly, kissing Bastians lips. "Sleep well?" He mumbles.

Bastian hummed in agreement, his eyes falling shut again as he smiled. He loved cuddling with Halo, especially in mornings like this

Halo chuckles quietly, tracing patterns on Bastian's chest gently, humming as he does so.

"What sounds good for brunch?" Bastian asked, smiling as he pressed a few slow kisses to the side of Halo's face

"Ngh… anything." He answers, nuzzling the other and smiling at the kisses. He loved the attention from Bastian. Many called him an attention seeker, but he actually only needed attention from one person. "What do you want?" He asks.

Bastian shrugged, pausing his movements for a moment to speak. "Could go downstairs. Quarri usually does brunch on the weekends."

"Sounds good." Halo says sleepily. He rolls over and scoots into the other, so his back was pressed to the others chest happily.
