Ginger brushed a piece of hair behind her ear. "Uh, I'm Ginger."
“Right, I’m Dalton.” He smiled. “I think we’ve seen each other around,”
"Yeah, I guess so," Ginger said with a soft smile. She needed to talk to someone, so she had been heading over to Darren's house, but maybe she could spare Darren the trouble. Besides, he was probably with Lillian.
“Yeah so… how’s it going?”
(How about you come down from Cloud 9 a bit and then try that again?)
(Clouds are stupid. They’re in He way of death)
"We'll see tomorrow, won't we?" She giggled. "God, I've been waiting years to wear this dress, you're gonna love it, I promise."
“I’m pretty sure I will love it. Do I get hints yet?”
(I've never seen my life reflected in a sentence so much as I just did.)
"Nope! You still have to wait. Although I will tell you, I am wearing heels with my dress so if I look like I'm dying, I probably am because my feet will be killing me. But, you know what they say, pain is beauty."
“That’s apparent,” he huffed. Who knew someone could get so worked up about a Disney movie.
Lillian chuckled, "Your adorable babe."
“Thanks,” he sighed, he lived for Disney movies but he could be a bit analytical at times.
"Nope! You still have to wait. Although I will tell you, I am wearing heels with my dress so if I look like I'm dying, I probably am because my feet will be killing me. But, you know what they say, pain is beauty."
“Pain is not beauty but is there a way I could get it out of you?”
"I don't know…why don't you try and find out?" She smiled a little.
Lillian kissed his cheek, "Your welcome."
"I don't know…why don't you try and find out?" She smiled a little.
His face lit up a bit, he looked at her with a sly smile slowing latching their lips back together.
She knew she wouldn't tell him, but it was fun to watch him try. She'd been saving this surprise for almost a month, he could wait one more day.
Lillian kissed his cheek, "Your welcome."
“Who do you think will make prom king?” The real source of his dim attitude.
She knew she wouldn't tell him, but it was fun to watch him try. She'd been saving this surprise for almost a month, he could wait one more day.
He let his head fall back, breaking the kiss, “you aren’t going to tell me are you?”
"Well, I'm pretty sure it'll be you. Who else could win?"
"Of course not. I've been hiding this surprise for almost a month, you can wait. Trust me, when you see it, it'll definitely be worth the wait." Am I hyping this up too much? MEH I DON'T CARE ANYMORE.

"I'm more interested in the one you'll be in on our wedding day,"
"They won't win. I know you will, and even if you don't what's the big deal? It's just a stupid title anyway right?"
"Aren't both of us?" She felt a shock of excitement shoot down her spine at the image of her in a wedding dress.
"They won't win. I know you will, and even if you don't what's the big deal? It's just a stupid title anyway right?"
"Not really," he sighed, there were things that came with it and it was important.
Lillian looked at him weirdly, "How so?"
"Aren't both of us?" She felt a shock of excitement shoot down her spine at the image of her in a wedding dress.
"See the groom is boring… Just a suit, no big deal,"
"Yeah it's all on the bride to bring the excitement with the outfit."
Lillian looked at him weirdly, "How so?"
"First off, they put that on a college resume and you are seen as a capable, likable leader. It looks really good for college and… It sounds cheesy but it's important to me,"
"Yeah it's all on the bride to bring the excitement with the outfit."
"Are you going to be able to pull it off Ms. Adams?" He asked in a newscaster's voice.
