(I was confuzzled when I joined so here's a gist for you.
Victoria (called Victorie by her sister, Ruby) is the queen. She has a cousin, Xavier, who's in love with her assistant, Claria. Still make sense? Good.
Her sister, Ruby, came to visit the castle. She is a very selfless person and likes food. A whole lot.
Elliot's a guard, I think, and Isobel is the queen's strict handmaiden who has something against Xavier and Claria. She probably thinks they're just messing around too much.
Suddenly, at the royal ball, bam, enemy attack. So, Andion, a knight, and Xavier begin to fight them off. They do well, but both have injuries. Meanwhile, Ruby has gotten most of the ballroom staff to a safe place as well as Victorie and Claria, both of whom snuck out again. So did Ruby, against William's (who's another guy) wishes. Now, Ruby has found Xavier and is sending for a medic while Claria is…hanging around and making sure he doesn't die while she's gone.
