Indigo held her locket close, "I don't trust you with that information yet."

He shrugged “good point.”

Azalea heard voices in the alleyway. She came out of her shed and peeled out “who’s there?”

Indigo nodded, she heard another voice, "Hello."

WIth a solemn nod, Orion accepts Lata coming near him. Though as soon as she had said yes, his face had lit up with a smile. Nodding his head towards the entrance to the alley, he speaks, tone low. "We should get going. Search parties will be sent out soon enough. I know a little hole in the wall place, we can eat there." Humming a bit to himself, he walks half a step in front of her, so any things that tried to get to her would go through him.

Lata hummed her approval, feeling a bit hungry. "Alright," she replied. Walking behind Orion, she stood completely still upon hearing other voices.
"Who's there?" a female voice called out, still sounding as if they couldn't see them yet.
"Hello?" another voice asked. A male's this time. Biting her lower lip, she refused to respond. For all they knew it could be government officials trying to draw them out.

"Ah, its fine." Kenzi stood to her feet quickly. "When shouldn't be out in the open like this." Her spear disappeared and she moved into a move secluded area. "What are you doing out here?" Most people like them were in hiding, it was rare to see one out in the open.

“Just sort of-“ Eden tensed when she heard footsteps. “Hiding.”

Azalea stepped out of her place “who are you guys?” She asked looked at the four people on opposite ends of an alley

Orion unconsciously backed up toward the alley wall, stepping further in front of Lata and herding her behind him. Doing his best to keep his eyes on the strangers, his blue eyes flick between them all. "I would recommend that you tell me your names. Your real names. I am not prone to trusting people who approach me of their own accord." Gaze hard, he bears no room for arguments.

Indigo responded promptly. She knew that when someone said they were not trusting, they meant it. Wait, was that a girl? A girl! No two girls! She could mimic a girl, "Indigo. Um and you are?"

Orion looks at Indigo, his gaze piercing. "Your blood changed. Your blood type. That doesn't just happen to people. Explain." Tone curt, he is not going to wait for answers. Looking back at Lata, he makes sure she is okay before turning back to the strangers.

Lata was glaring at those nearby. "Indigo" sounded like a feminine name, but it was the male who spoke. Something seemed more than just odd. Orion's comment made her realize that his ability likely related to blood. Man, she felt dumb for not figuring that out sooner. Knowing that the people before them were likely ability users, that didn't mean they could be trusted.

"Heh you caught me," Indigo raised her males hands. She gave up as her mimic fell away. The black hair, green eyed girl returned, "I can copy other's appearances, voices, habits, disabilities, and if I try hard enough abilities. All it takes is a touch."

“Azalea. I’m a Celeste(what ability users are called).”

Axel looked at the others then the girl beside him. “Im Axel. Yes I’m the one on the news.” He smirked

Kenzi hasn't seen anyone around here in a while. It was so out in the country that she never thought of them coming this far. "I have a place we can go to, but you have to trust me." She had to get back, if something happened to Cuppy and them, she would be able to live with herself. "We have to get out of here."

Eden nodded her head. “Lead the way.”

Kenzi took all the back alleys. "Were close." She would do anything to not get caught. "Here." She lifted a hatch on the ground and gestured for Eden to go in first.

Eden warily stepped down through the hatch. Instinctively, a little ball of light hovered over her head.

"Hey guys I'm back!" Kenzi climbed down after her. "I'm surprised you're-" Cuppy stopped when he say a random girl standing next to Kenzi, his eyes narrowed. "Who is she?" Cuppy didn't like new people and the only person he actually trusted and liked was Kenzi. "Cuppy, calm down." She smiled turning to Eden. "This is. Sorry what's you're name?"

Eden paused. They might turn me in! But they are like me. You don’t know that! “Eden. Pontaine.” Eden you are stupid. If you die, it’s on you.

"Hm." Cuppy huffed and turned away. "Don't worry about him. That's just how he is." Kenzi nodded towards the the subway car. "If you come this way I'll show you around." She was excited to have a new person. Maybe I should recruit her.

Running his tongue over his sharp teeth in a nervous tick, Orion looks at all those opposite him. Even though he had just met Lata, Orion was going to protect her, even if that meant exposing himself. "My name is Orion." Blue gaze sharp he watches the others, ready to defend or attack if need be.
