"I have no idea." April said.
"I have no idea." April said.
"Well, you don't like doing outdoors things and you don't want to go party." Kenzi walk over and sat next to April. "I'm a flexible person, so I'll let you choose."
"I don't really want to do anything right now." April said. (Gtg for the night, bye!)
"So you just want to sit here?" How weird. "I mean I'm okay with that." Kenzi slipped her glasses back on and grabbed her book. "I'll just finish reading then."
"Okay." April said, lying back down.
Kenzi was reading her book but kept nodding off. She was so tired after waking up early and jogging, to going shopping, then school. Soon enough she was passed out on the couch and curled up into a ball.
April put a blanket over the two of them and shuffled closer to Kenzi for warmth, and the fact that though she wouldn't admit it, her friend smelled nice, like flowers and dark chocolate and the smell of dust after rain.
Kenzi smiled at the warmth and pulled whatever it was closer. Snuggling was always something that Kenzi liked. "So warm."
"Mmphlemmejus'sleeep." April muttered into a pillow.
"But, you're so warm." Kenzi mumbled, and slightly laughed. "The couch is a little small though." She shifted trying to get more comfortable.
"We could move to a bed or something." she yawned, fully unaware of the potential sexual subtext that statement might imply.
"Who's bed?" Kenzi was still half asleep when she asked. "Who's bed is bigger?" Kenzi opened one eye and realized she was holding April. "Oh my gosh!" She let go. "I'm so, sorry."
"Why? You don't have any reason to be sorry."
"Well, I mean I was just clinging to you in my sleep." She hoped April didn't find it weird. "Some people just don't like it." Her face went a little red and sat up on the couch.
"I'm not 'Some People' then. I actually rather enjoyed it." she said.
"Oh." Kenzi wasn't sure of what to say. If it didn't bother her then she guessed it was okay. "Still, it must have been uncomfortable laying on the couch with someone hugging you."
"No, it was fine."
"Well, if you're okay with it I guess I'm fine with it." She held her arms back open, with a smile on her face. "I'm a cuddler."
"Mm, sounds good." she said, putting her head on Kenzi's chest and closing her eyes.
Kenzi was glad that April was closing her eyes, because she was blushing pretty hard right now. "So, um how is life?" That's the best you could Kenzi?
"Life at the moment is pretty nice." she said.
"That's good to hear." On instinct Kanzi ran her hands through April's hair. "My parents have been bugging me to come visit. My brothers birthday is soon and they want me there."
"Why don't you?" April asked, starting to fall asleep.
"I have a lot of work to do. But, I guess I could make a little time for it." She sighed. "I'll have to save up money since they live in Arizona. It's so hot there that I don't even want to go back." Kenzi noticed April was falling asleep, so she stopped talking and continued to run her hand through her hair.
"Hmm…. I could save up some money too and go with you if you want…. yawn."
"I don't know if you would like it there, I mean it's really hot." Kenzi smiled at April as she laid on her chest. "You can sleep, it's fine."
"Mm, you smell nice…." she said.
"Oh, uh, thanks." What do I smell like? "You smell nice as well." April smelt of flowers mixed with the ocean, it was nice.
April started to snore gently. She had fallen asleep.
Kezni laid back and took her glasses off. "I'm tired as well." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. It took a minutes before she fall asleep.
