I was just thinking about having the ability to link characters as "Master/Servant"??? I know there's a "companion" tab but i have some characters that arent creatures but serve a master through blood-bonds or life debts.

Hi @"Nobody.Thinks.What.I.Think" ! andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) has recently upgraded the site so that we’re able to add any categories or fields we want to our page types. You could easily add a ‘Sexuality’ field to the overview category. There’s a tutorial for this sort of thing if you’re interested:

Hey! It has been mentioned a few times already but please add the option to pay with PayPal for premium. I've been dying to get it but can't because I don't have an american credit card (apparently other cards don't work) or any credit card for that matter. And if it's not possible could we at least get the reason why?

I have an Australian one, and it worked okay. But I agree, PayPal would be a great option.
Can you make it so when we hide fields, we can make it so if some characters have that fields filled out, the hidden fields will only show on the Characters {or other pages} That have that field filled out.
Been noticing people constantly deleting their account then making new ones and being really creepy. Can we like, get a verification process or something to stop people from just spam creating accounts?

@@barrissokasSPOOKYbrainworms(it's me Jynnie) you can create a private email and use that if does verification. You can change your email by going to "Account Settings"
Could we get a way to edit the people in PMs?
Hey everyone!! I just discovered this incredible sight today and I am probably going to be subscribing to premium within the next few days, maybe hours!
I think we should have the option to upload images for everything. I would like to draw out my characters, my locations, my races, etc. and replace the default image at the top with my own drawings. I think everyone would benefit from this and I think this feature could be applied to every Page.

@divetoheart - have you discovered the Gallery category when editing your pages? You should be able to add images to any of your pages, and they will show up in the header bar.

This has probably been mentioned a few times, but I have a suggestion for the social aspect of this site. First of all, I work collaboratively with my fellow writers and have someone who does the editing on all our writing. My only complaint about this website is that I can't follow/friend other creators, meaning I can't exchange usernames with my writer friends or the editors, and we can't do any form of work together on here. Also, if the editors and writers cant obtain access to another user's work, then they can't edit it, meaning they cant work collaboratively. Lower on my priority list is private messaging, so I can work while talking, but it isn't exactly a necessary feature for me. If in the only one who works with a group than I understand why something along those lines wouldn't be added, but I still think it could be helpful for everyone to be able to work together a little more.

I think having Timelines would be really cool for our categories. Being able to signify that a particular character or location existed during a certain era, and being able to expand on those eras with notable events, notable individuals, and so on. Construction of a calendar of sorts, a system for years/passage of time, could all be worked into the Timeline feature.
I’m not sure if this has been suggested before, but after reading all about this site’s progress and everything, I think a mobile app is a must at this point. I fell in love with this site over night and it has everything I’ve ever wanted to be a writer, but man, I wish I could create on the go. I would absolutely pay for an app.
@Isa - I’m not sure if these features are what you’re looking for, but I thought I’d mention them:
- You can create private threads on Notebook.ai. This is done via the ‘Inbox’ link (envelope icon on mobile) in the upper-right corner of the forums page. Detailed instructions for that can be found in this tutorial here
How to Create a Private Thread- You can add another user (or multiple users) as a contributor to a universe, allowing them to edit and add to all the content within that universe (but not delete pages). This can be done via the ‘contributors’ category on the edit screen of the universe you wish to share. All you need to know is the email that user has associated with their Notebook account.
