Max looked at the guy who he was shoved into a room with and decided to not say anything because he didn't look like he wanted to talk.
Hatake looked at his “roommate” he guess he could call him. He opened his mouth, “Hi…” he managed to say.

(to make things more interesting how about the necklace don't work when they are in the room so they can like "save energy" or something like that. that way people can practice with there powers. but they can use it to break out of the rooms because the walls are made of somethings really strong and power resistant idk)
