I am Christian and also bi and you know what? I can't control it. If I had a choice, I wouldn't be into girls. Not at this point in my life when I'm at a super conservative college. You saying that this isn't how God made me is disrespecting not only me but also my Father in heaven because you know what? He loves me SO much and you're being rude and disrespectful.
LGBTQ+ individuals aren't "gay for attention." Suicide rates in the community are RIDICULOUSLY HIGH. Mental illness is an epidemic. Don't you dare tell me that I'm gay for attention. Or anyone else in this chat.
You are welcome to have and hold your opinion. But you cannot come to this safe space where most people here are LGBTQ+ in some way and attack their identities because it's hard enough as it is.

Can you choose to be into the opposite gender? Like, let's say you're a guy (bc your name is Neal. Typically male name) Can you walk around and not notice cute girls? Like you see them and you get crushes on them and you can't really help it right?
Yeah it's exactly the same way for everyone. No matter if they're gay or straight.
This is not a choice. No one in the community would choose to be gay and face hazing and bullying and harassment and death threats and mental illness and they would stop being gay if it meant they didn't want to kill themselves.
