He bends over, wincing, "Uh… asian… of any sort." He manages, hissing through his teeth at his pain.

"Okay. Do we need to stop at CVS to get anything for you?" They skidded to a stop at a red light, and Marlene clutched her shoulders and hip, which were still pretty major bruises. "Me too, apparently," She grumbles, wincing.
"No not really." He says softly. "Let's just eat, yeah?" He glances at her.
She looked at him. "Sure. Do you have bandages at home? We might need to make a stop for me." She took the wheel again as the light flashed green.
"Yeah, I do." He says, grimacing a little.
"Alrighty then. I might need a bit of help applying them as my arms are kind of the things injured. Not that I can't steer." Hayley veered around the roundabout, the old car's rusty edge skimming the pavement.
He nods and sighs, shaking his head tiredly.
"Are you okay? You seem kind of…I don't know…depressed?" Marlene asked in concern, pulling up to the drive-thru of Panda House.
"Exhausted is all." he answers, his stomach growling in hunger.
"Well, we'll get you some food and sleep." Marlene ordered and drove to the window. Hayley's breaks squealed, even from the light pressure.
He nods and leans back in his chair. "Thanks." He mutters, smiling a little.
"But of course, there's still a ride home." Hayley screeched back onto the main road, window flying up and the food boxes jouncing onto the dash. "Better hold onto the food. I don't want to have to clean Hayley again."
He nods and takes the food, humming in thought as he leans his head back.
"You're getting used to it. Huh. Most people are still screaming at me to slow down." Marlene glanced over at Antione, who seemed quite relaxed despite the breakneck speed and risky turns.
"I'm just in to much pain to care right now." He answers, snorting a little.
"Hm. So you don't need me to hold your hand?" Marlene raised an eyebrow.
"Nope. Are you subtly flirting with me?"
Marlene smiled. "Maybe." She turned her attention back to the road.
Antoine raises his eyebrow at the other before smiling a little.
(well played)
Hayley clunked along perseveringly until they reached the campus parking lot. Marlene grabbed her respective box and locked Hayley up. "See? She's not too bad." She slapped the hood. "Don't doubt this old girl. She's a glory."
He chuckles and nods, exiting the car while holding their food. "Shall we eat?" He asks. Antoine starts towards the dorms, humming a little.
"What else would there be to do? We have food and a car. I mean, joyrides, but…probably not."
"Nope. Let's just get in the house and eat." he says lightly.
"I agree. Poor girl needs some gas." Marlene followed Antione into the dorm.
He chuckles and sets the food on the counter, humming a little.
(why does everyone fricking hum all the time in romance rp's)
"Do we have a radio in here? I forgot to bring one, stupid me." Marlene changed the subject and looked around the room.
"Haha, yeah, on the desk." He nudges his head towards the small desk beside the window. He walks to the fridge and grabs some milk and some pain meds.
"Ah, yes!" Marlene trotted over to it as best she could with her damaged hip and put on, naturally, 80's rock.
(Because all angels listen to 80's rock.)
"Now, about those bandages. A hand?"
Antoine looks towards her, "Yeah, sure. Pain meds?" He asks, walking over with a glass and a few pills. He grabs the bandages and wanders back into the room.
"Nah. Just my arms and hip. I swear to god, that gr…grandma's cane will be the death of me." She shifted so her arms were in reach.
