"Yeah. I don't think so." He wasn't going to let her go there. "We're going to your house to pick your things up. I'm definitely not bragging but I live in a big house, and in the backyard we have a guest house." He kissed her one more time, before leading her out of the forest.
Kate followed him out of the forest, still a little off from what just happened. "Oh," she said remembering. "We don't, I mean, we can't go back to my house. My mom threw my stuff out."

"Then I'll take you to my guest house and I'll go get your stuff." He shrugged like it was no big deal. Her mom couldn't be that scary? And Xavier was pretty well built, he doesn't like bragging about it. He does play football though. "Don't worry, my parents are super chill and won't mind."
(Night.)
"Really, no, it's okay. Honestly, there's no need." She stared at the ground. I can't let him get hurt. She shivered at the thought of what she could do to him. Not as in physically hurting him, but in a different way… "You shouldn't worry about it."
Vash almost pulled back but she felt herself returning his kiss. His lips felt right to hers. It felt to right. And pain hit her right in the heart. Nothing physical. But emotionally. It was the pain knowing that she'd leave in less then a year. Knowing she'd be pulled away just before she is completely consumed.
Blue sunk into the kiss. He’d never kissed anyone before, much less got kissed back. He brought his hands up to run through her hair -gosh, it was so soft- and then it hit him like a train, as if time finally caught up. He couldn’t be doing this. He couldn’t bring his father into anyone else’s life. But stars, I love her… Blue was so selfish that he didn’t break the kiss there, didn’t end the dinner, didn’t leave. He didn’t deserve Vash, but he couldn’t seemed to stop kissing her.
Vahs remembered where they where and pulled back. Her face about as red as ones could get. She gave blue an apolagetic look and noticed the waiter had returned. Crap, vash thought to herself. The waiter probably saw everything and now thinks we're weird and ugh. Her mind raced with what if's.
Blue returned to his seat, his face mirroring Vash’s, when he looked up at the waiter, “Sorry…” The waitress set down the two crepes, ignoring what had happened, and asked if they wanted anything else. Blue shook his head nervously, then she left so it was just Blue and Vash alone.
Vash looked to blue, her face scrunched up like she was trying not to laugh. "Well that was awkward" she laughed a bit holding back. "And for the record good sir you where my first kiss" and probably my last, she added that part only in her mind though.
Blue burst out laughing when Vash started laughing, “Gosh I’m so awkward,” He smiled, “And for the record again, you were my first kiss too.”
"So what exactly is in a crape?" Vash asked trying to change the subject. She felt her face cooling down now.
“Well…” Blue looked at his, “It varies a lot. Crepes are kinda like really thin pancakes filled with stuff. You can have dessert crepes filled with chocolate and berries and stuff like that, or you could have a more meal-like crepe, like ours, filled with meat, tomatoes, peppers, stuff like that,” Blue shrugged, taking out a fork and knife and cutting off a piece of his crepe. It had avocados, tomatoes, and bits of chicken in it. It tasted amazing to Blue.
"Really, no, it's okay. Honestly, there's no need." She stared at the ground. I can't let him get hurt. She shivered at the thought of what she could do to him. Not as in physically hurting him, but in a different way… "You shouldn't worry about it."
"Were here." His house was big and had a nice garden on the outside and a gate you had to walk through before you go inside. Pushing a few buttons on a lock pad, the gate opened and he led her inside.
Vash cut a piece off and ate it. Her eyes lit up at the taste, "this, this is good. Like really good." She'd never had anything that had so much flavor in it before, and for the first time in a long time she actually wanted to eat. She finished the rest rather fast and smiled awkwardly.
"Wow. You have a really nice house." She felt so small. Everything felt so pristine and perfect.
"Oh, uh, Thank you." The gate began to open and he walked into the yard taking her to the back. The guest house was smaller than the actual house but still decent sized. "This is where you will he staying." He pulled a key from his wallet and handed it to her. Keeping an extra key for everything was his thing just to make sure. "Okay I'll be right back. Make yourself at home."
Kate was still amazed with the size of the guest house. It was at least twice the size of her room. She walked over to the bed amd felt the covers. "Whoa…" They were the softest thing she'd ever felt. She stayed standing, admiring the room.
The door slammed open and a older women walked in. "Oh, you must be Kat." She pulled Kate into a hug. "Mom, it's Kate not Kat." Xavier's mom was a very loving women and was one of those people that liked to help. "My son has never brought home a girl before." Xavier almost checked on the water he was drinking. "Okay.. that's enough." He pulled them apart, still holding onto Kate though. "I'm going to go make some snacks. Xavier's mom walked out closing the door behind her. "Sorry about that."
She had never felt a hug like that before. Kate smiled. "It's okay." She looked into his eyes. "She's really nice."
"Yeah she's the best." Xavier wouldn't admit it but he was definitely a mama's boy. "She's also a huge people person, so I think I get that from her." He sat on the couch the was near the bedroom. "You have your own bathe room, TV, pretty much everything in here."
Kate looked around, still amazed. "Honestly, I'm okay with the library." It was much smaller. She'd feel more at home. Of course, it wasn't as luxurious as this, but that was the point. Here she felt small, alone almost.
"I won't stop you if you want to leave." He crossed his arms and looked at the door. A library wasn't somewhere someone should live, but if she liked it there better he won't force her to stay. "If you do go though, just call me if anything happens. I'll definitely come running and if you want you can always come back here."
Ungrateful child. "Sorry, um- thank you for this. I'd really, I'm-" she stumbled over her words like they werre boulders. She looked down to the ground. "I do want to stay, it's just. I'm. It's so clean and beautiful. I just. I'm not. I'm-" Idiot.
"Would… it help if it was messy?" Taking his foot he knocked some books to the ground that was on the coffee table. Taking a quick glance at her he smiled playfully. "I'm willing to do anything, if it will make you feel comfortable."
Kate brought her hand to her mouth and let out a soft laugh. "No don't do that! Because then you have to clean it later!"
Xavier shrugged one shoulder. "I don't mind cleaning, I'll just play music and dance as I clean." As long as there was music Xavier would do anything. "Seriously though, I would feel a lot better if you stayed here."
Kate smiled. "You're such a weirdo." She laughed and then walked up to him putting her arms around him head against his chest. She could hear his heart beating. "Then I will stay."
"Really?" The smile on his face got brighter and tone got more childish. "I mean." He cleared his throat. "If that's what you want." The smile never disappeared, as his arms wrapped around her.
She looked up, eyes meeting his. "Yes." She smiled softly.
Vash cut a piece off and ate it. Her eyes lit up at the taste, "this, this is good. Like really good." She'd never had anything that had so much flavor in it before, and for the first time in a long time she actually wanted to eat. She finished the rest rather fast and smiled awkwardly.
Blue smiled at her, blushing a little bit just from nervousness. Blue finished He crepe too then said, “I’m guessing you liked it as much as I did?”
