Oliver twitches as the nurse leaves, but other than that, he's completely still. He looked absolutely broken. Like a lost puppy, kicked out into the rain. His hair falls in front of his face, his eyes shut as silent tears run down his face. The nurse exits the room, locking the door behind her. Her eyes narrow as she walks towards Elijah's room.
Elijah gave one final bang to the door before curling in on himself. His back was against the wall, and he let his eyes fall shut. He wrapped his arms around his knees and brought them to his chest. "Let me go," he muttered, crying.
Jordan walks up to the door of the other patient. (Oliver) He looks inside and sighs, "Sorry… That must have been hard…"
The nurse opens the door and her eyes narrow. "Elijah?" She asks, her eyes narrowed. "I'd like to know exactly what you were doing in subject 214's room." Her eyes narrow as she kneels in front of him. "Stop sniveling. You're lucky I'm not having you placed in the basement for a week for the stunt you just pulled."
Elijah repressed his urge to flinch away from her. He wiped at his face. His breathing wasn't getting any better, but he could manage. "The door was open and he was screaming. I wanted to know if he was okay."
She takes a breath, "You do realize what he's in here for, correct? Subject 214 is a danger to himself and those around him. Stay away from him if you know what's good for you." She says, standing.
"I don't think he's that bad," Elijah muttered, backing away a bit. "And his name's Oliver, not subject 214."
She looks at him, "He lost his name when he killed his nurse." She says coldly. The nurse walks towards the door, "And he's known for manipulation, so I'd recommend keeping your pretty little face away from him."
Elijah stiffened. "He said she was fired." He said, his fingers already tapping on the floor again. L-I-A-R-L-I-A-R-L-I-A-R.
"Like I said. He's manipulative. He lies." She looks back at him, "She died because he choked her to death." Her eyes narrow. "Subject 214 is known for his insanity, he kills without mercy. Stay away from him." She growls. With that she leaves the room, slamming the door behind her.
Elijah flinched away from the sound. He trembled a bit, trying to go over all of it in his head. Oliver didn't seem like he could kill people. The nurse had to be lying. There was no way that Ollie would lie to him.
Oliver groans softly, glancing around in the dark, "E-elijah?" He croaks softly. The only answer he heard was the echo of his own voice. He slowly sits up, hearing the chain latched to his ankle chink loudly. He had to get out of here, he needed to find Elijah. He didn't want Elijah to get hurt.
Jayson sat in his room quietly in the corner, he was just lost in thought as always. he just let his mind run wild with thoughts of stuff.
Jordan got to his feet again, shrugging, "That's what always happens when I try to be nice. I get ignored…" He walks out to the hall again.
Oliver shakes, his eyes looking around frantically. He was seeing figures, people… he screeches, his eyes widening when he sees his dead mother reaching her hand towards him. He chokes back a sob as he pushes himself against the wall. "No! Nononononono!!" he cries, curling up, his back pressed against the wall as he shakes and trembles.
Jayson looked up as he heard Oliver shreek down the hall. He wondered what was going on down there, what was happening in his room.
Jordan shivers and falls against the wall at the screaming. He covers his ears as his brain takes him back to the vet. All those dogs' wailing. He shakes violently and starts to mutter and yell
"They're causing a ruckus." The nurse narrows her eyes. "Start initiative 32." She says glancing at the men. They nod and grab their sedatives. She watches the patients with a dark glint in her eye.
Elijah woke up groggily in his room. He immediately heard Oliver screaming, which sent him into a state of panic. He felt around for the door handle shakily, and to his surprise he found it unlocked. He ran through the doorway, wincing at the volume of the yelling. "Ollie?" He asked, though he had no idea if he was even relatively close to the room. "Ollie?" He felt his breathing start to escalate, and he curled his hands around his ears, sinking to the floor.
Oliver sobs softly, then hears someone coming. "Elijah?!" He calls desperately. "Elijah!" He scrambles towards the door, as far as the chain would allow him. He shrieks when his father swipes at him, and he cries out, huddling on the floor.
Elijah nearly let out a shriek. It was all too loud, too much. He felt like he was about to explode. "Stop, stop stop!" he sobbed, his hands tightening. "Ollie!"
"Elijah." He felt suddenly calm. "Follow my voice." He says gently. "Ignore the others screaming. Just focus on my voice." Oliver calls, his eyes searching the dark.
"No. No." He sobbed, curling around himself. "I can't, I can't, I can't." He choked out. "It's too much, Ollie."
"I know, it's okay. Breathe." Oliver says, his eyes shutting. "I just want you to follow my voice. Can you do that?"
"I- I don't know. I don't know where you are." He choked out, ducking his head between his knees. "Ollie, I-" He let out another sob.
Oliver wrenches at his straitjacket. "I-It's okay…" He whispers. Guards begin to walk through the halls holding the sedatives for the patients. The nurse watches from her office as Oliver whimpers and cries out for Elijah.
Elijah heard someone approach him. He flinched away from the sound. He felt someone roughly grab his arm, pulling him upwards. He let out a weak cry as they jammed something into his arm. He relaxed into their grip, suddenly feeling dizzy. "Ollie?" He asked.
Oliver screamed as a man entered his room. He tried to pull away but the needle is injected into his neck. He groans and falls back, completely out.
Jordan shrieks as the sedatives where shoved at him. He dodges one but another just bairilly scraps his shin. He crashes to the ground his his entire leg goes numb. He yells and writhes.
