“No, he fought with my parents. He was allowed to go to the high school only if he allowed them to control his entertainment time. He got 3 scholarship offers since.” He smiled “he came from the university for vacation.”
"Oh, okay. And where did he end up going for university?" Ash asked, wanting to know more about Liam and his family.
(Idk university names….)
Liam told her
(That works 😂)
When they finally got to the food vendors, Ash ordered two soft pretzels for the both of them and handed one to Liam with a smile. "Now, back to you. What grade are you going into? We might end up having classes together."
"Im in 12. What about you?" he asked holding the hot snack
"Me too! So maybe we do have classes together." she smiled, taking a bite of her soft pretzel.
Vash couldn't help but laugh, "thanks, you're not to bad looking yourself either."
(I actually gtg too, bye!)
(Bye!)
Blue’s eyes widened in shock and joy, “Really? I- uh- I- thank you.” He tongue was twisted like a pretzel.
Vash laughed at his sudeden joy, "don't get compliments to offten do ya?" She joked around.
“Well, not -uh- very often, no,” Blue said with a smile no one would be able to wipe off his face. And hugged Vash again and pulled back, smile still on his face.
The sudden hug scared her a bit but she quickly whipped the look of fright off her face. "Nice smile you got there," she laughed and thought gosh I wish he'd smile like that all the time.
“Well, I-It helps when there’s something to smile about,” Blue responded with a blush. Gosh she was beautiful.
Vash's face turned a bright red. "Whatever." She laughed it off knowing whatever, ment holy freaking crap blue. And very much hoping that he didn't catch on.
The lunch bell rang before Blue could comment anymore on it. He stood and looked at Vash, with that stupid grin still on his face, “I’ll meet you by the flag pole after school still.”
"See you then!" Vash shouted after him happy that she'd see him again soon. She pulled out the small paper that had her classes on it and headed off to find the next class.
(Time-skip to… sometime… Maybe after school?)
(Yeah sure)
Kate and Xavier talked through lunch and agreed to do something after school. At the end of the day, she went to where they said they'd meet and waited.
"Sorry!" He shouted pushing past people. "My teacher made me stay behind for a bit." He couldn't believe he was late. He felt bad for pushing people, but he really wanted to see her as soon as possible. "So, where are we going?"
Kate smiled as Xavier neared. "I don't know, what would you like to do?"
Vash found her way to the flag poll and awaited blue.
(Oof sorry that was short I just woke up.)
Blue walked to the flag and spotted Vash. He smile and he took off his sunglasses, “Hey, Vash!”
Vash laughed a little when he took his sunglasses off. "Dramatic much?" She joked. "Anyway, hey blue! Off to your house to get your stuff then?" She asked.
As much a Blue wanted to skip that part, he needed to do it and Vash would be there with him, so he nodded his head and they went to his house. It was shabby looking, an ugly tan outside. Blue got out his key and opened the door quietly. It smelled like alcohol and an unwashed body, but Blue had gotten used to the scent. He really hoped his father was sleeping.
Vash followed blue, and when he opened the door the smell hit her like a train, something she wasn't really used to anymore since she moved here.
Blue went to walk up the stairs, to his room, but- “Boy! Get me another drink!” Blue winced and gave an apologetic look at Vash, before scurrying down the stair and going to the refrigerator then giving his father a bottle. From the doorway, you could just see half of the man’s back head, his arm, and the chair he was sitting on. Blue’s father threw out an arm and hit Blue in the back, “You were late again.” Blue made a small noise of acknowledgement before going back to the stairs and starting to walk up them.
Vash winced when blues father called him over. She hated how he addressed his own son. Its fine she told herself. He'll be at your house where he's safe soon. Vash followed blue up the stairs making little to no noise, she was used to having to going un-noticed.
Blue made it to his room and shut the door behind Vash, them let out the breath he’d been holding. He looked at Vash and mumbled, “Sorry about him.” Blue went and grabbed a set of clothes and a few extra blankets. He found a bag to throw them in.
"Nothing I haven't seen before" she said giving her reassuring smile that was like second nature to her when she was around blue. "Look if you wanted to stay more then one night you can. I don't think my dad would care that much."
“Are you sure?” Blue asked, trying to keep the hope out of his voice. He didn’t want to be any trouble…
"Yeah, he's a pretty chill guy. He wouldn't care that much." A lie, her foster dad would be angry with her but she didn't care. All she wanted was for blue to be safe.
“Thank you,” Blue breathed before going up and hugging her. He lingered for a few seconds, but then drew away and got another few sets of clothes, extra just in case. A blush was still on his face after he’d gotten all packed. He heaved up the duffel bag on his shoulder and finally looked at Vash again.
"Its no problem" she smiled when he hugged her. She returned the hug back. "Onward to my house then," she headed back down stairs towards the door Ready to leave this place.
