"What? W-Why?" Lucas lay his head against his father's chest, making fearful eye contact with him.

“It’s okay, I know one that will protect us,” Bob said, already moving towards the car. “You are below your average temperature by several degrees, little man.”
“Mmm… how many?” Lucas asked, still shivering.
“I can’t tell,” Bob said, gently laying Lucas in the back seat and getting in the driver’s. He began driving away, trusting Kaly to take care of the situation at the house. “Too many.”
//i have had an idea. Twins, what if you were around 1st grade age? That way, you guys could still participate and stuffs :)
"Okay… how long till we get there?" Lucas coughed, curling up into a ball to preserve heat.
Kaly watched them leave. The instant they were out of sight, she began coughing. Her whole body shook and spazzed with the motion. She fell to her knees and writhed on the ground.
//quite dramatic
“Soon,” Bob promised.
(Lol, she's just like me! Jk, that's so inaccurate it's not even funny.)
//XD
(laughs at the pain
What?)
"Alright…" Lucas was silent for the rest of the ride aside from a few coughing fits.
Bob got them to the ‘hospital’ in under ten minutes. Turns out, it was a house in the neighboring neighborhood. “C’mon, Lucas,” Bob said, helping him out of the car.
Kaly pushed herself up. Her coughing didn't stop. "Come… on…!"
"Y-Yes, dad." Lucas clutched his father's arm as they walked in, leaning against him for support.
Kaly was desperate to stop coughing. She tried to use her telekinesis to draw the smoke out of her lungs.
//wow thats very dramatic
Maybe tone it down a bit :P
Bob led Lucas up the front steps and knocked on the front door. The ‘doorbell’ next to them lit up, and a business-like voice said, “Who are you and why are you here?” Before Bob could answer, the voice changed tones completely. “Bob! Oh, it’s so good to see you. And little Lucas! Ah, I haven’t seen you since you were a mere baby!”
“It’s been, like, two months, Edna,” Bob muttered. “And we kind of need help here.”
“Of course, of course.” There was a buzz, and the front door swung open.
“H-Hi, Edna…” Lucas stumbled into the house after his father, looking around. He was still shivering, his body temperature being a couple degrees below the average human’s at about 95 Fahrenheit.

(Okay, sorry!)
Kaly pulled out her phone. She shot off a quick text, then went into the bedroom to see if she could save anything.

//no worries :D
“H-Hi, Edna…” Lucas stumbled into the house after his father, looking around. He was still shivering, his body temperature being a couple degrees below the average human’s at about 95 Fahrenheit.
“As you can see,” Bob told the woman, “We need help. And normal hospitals would go berserkers at Lucas’s vitals, so that’s why we’re here. He, uh…” Bob lowered his voice. “He set fire to his room again….”
Edna gasped and then nodded vigorously. “Come, come, darling,” she instructed, leading them down a spiral stairway.
Kaly searched through the rubble. "Oh, Lucas…"
Lucas followed Edna as quickly as he could without running, his arms crossed firmly over his chest to preserve heat.
(What do you want Kaly to find, Fraust?)
(Uhh… maybe like, a sketchbook or a song he was writing or something?)
Lucas followed Edna as quickly as he could without running, his arms crossed firmly over his chest to preserve heat.
Bob followed behind Lucas, ready to catch him if he were to fall.
“W-Where are you taking us?” Lucas asked Edna, staying close to his father. “Are we almost there?”
“Pretty close,” Bob said at the same time Edna said, “Be patient, darling,” with a careless wave of her hand. Bob sighed. “You doing okay, Lucas?”
