Riverpaw looked up from her phone, smirking at Belle and scooting closer on the bed as the older sat up. "Good morning." She giggled.

“I guess most of us are awake then,” Rigel remarked from his spot on the couch. He’d fallen asleep there at some point in the night. It was good though, he’d have a long day today. He was going to be busy. But he also needed his bike, meaning he’d have to buy some gas and siphon it into his bike. Great.
(Is August the only one that's not hungover?)
August pulled Meun closer, reaching his hand up to brush away tears with his thumb. "Meun, you don't have to cry, okay? No one's going to hurt you. And I like you. A lot. So I'm not going to hurt you, even if you don't like me back."
(probably, lol)
(Honestly I'm kind of surprised at his self-control though. Like he went "I think I'm buzzed" and then started drinking water)
Riverpaw looked up from her phone, smirking at Belle and scooting closer on the bed as the older sat up. "Good morning." She giggled.
(Sorry, got pulled away.)
"Morning… You didn't want to sleep with Tsunami?" Belle asked groggily.
(Yo guys, because I'm not above advertising for other roleplays, I started a time travel roleplay called "The Coalition" and you guys can join if you want

Meun sniffled. "I'm sorry. I'm a crybaby," he said with a small, forced chuckle. Slowly he got out of the bathtub, his joints aching a bit from the way he slept
(sounds awesome, and g o d do I want to, but I'm in too many RPs already)
Riverpaw shrugged. "I-I wanted to sleep in the bed with you…a-and you know she pees in her sleep sometimes, so I didn't want her in the bed. She's down there." She looked over the edge of the bed at the small bundle of sleeping fur. "S-so..are you okay?"
"Meun, you're not a crybaby. We had this conversation in the motel room earlier, remember?" August said, getting up as well. The first thing he noticed was his partly damp clothes. "And you're not burdening me or anything like that with your feelings."
"Other than a pounding headache, yeah I'm fine," Belle assured the girl. She reached over with a slight smirk and ruffled Riverpaw's hair.
Riverpaw closed her eyes and leaned into Belle's hand. "You sure? I have stuff that'll help with that." She mumbled.
"I'm sorry," Meun mumbled on instinct. He wandered over to the sink, grabbing a cup and filling it with water before taking one of the pills from the bottle he was still holding
Belle raised her eyebrows. "Do you?"
Rigel stood and stretched, yawning. He tugged his phone out of his pocket, pulling up google maps. He had a lot to do today, and he was already planning his route. His motivations were enough to make his head turn from a sleepy, foggy, previous drugged brain into a well functioning cluster of ticking gears powered by thoughts.
"What are you apologizing for? You've done nothing wrong." August said softly, walking forward and putting his hand on Meun's shoulder gently.
Colden walked to the living room, "Hey Rigel." he said as he saw Rigal on the couch.
Riverpaw peeked from under Belle's hand, her eyes narrowed playfully. "I've known you for almost three years, of course I do."
Belle snorted and gently shoved Riv so that the younger girl nearly fell off the bed.
"Well, go get it, then!" she exclaimed playfully.
Riverpaw giggled, grabbing the bed to balance herself, and swung her legs over the side. She stood up and stretched, and Tsunami finally awoke and looked up at her. "Be right back." She said to both of them as she headed for the door.
"I just…I feel like I'm bothering you," Meun mumbled, looking off to the side a bit sheepishly as he spoke. "I've done nothing but be annoying, and you're just…really, really nice, and I don't want you to have to deal with my dumb problems."
Belle closed her eyes and leaned back. Gosh, what had she been thinking? She shouldn't have drank any of the spiked punch, but… It had helped her with getting distracted from her thoughts…
"You're not bothering me, I promise." He reached up, brushing Meun's cheek with his thumb. "And your problems aren't dumb."
Riverpaw walked into the living room, waving to Rigel and Colden as she went to the kitchen. She looked through the fridge, hoping the ginger she had hidden in there was still untouched. She still wasn't sure if Belle liked ginger; in her own experiences, most people didn't, but this included a bit of magic and she'd been wanting to try it out for a while now.
Meun pursed his lips as he looked up at August. "I…thank you," he murmured before leaning up and pecking August's cheek gently
August's face heated up. "You're welcome? Do you want to go out to the others?"
"Yeah, probably," Meun said, smiling a little dorkily at how red August's face got
Belle flinched. She'd fallen back asleep, but it wasn't helping her. A dream – more like a nightmare – of a memory haunted her.
A much younger-looking Belle stood in the middle of an elaborately decorated living room, directly across from a tall, well-built man with dark brown hair and green eyes. He was shouting something at her, and she could smell the alcohol on his breath. A sharp snapping sound accompanied a harsh pain on her cheek, and the girl but her lip to keep from crying out. She'd learned long ago that it was better to hold it in than to show her pain, as the man would only hurt her more if she did.
"Do not talk to that boy – or any boy – again. Do you understand?" he growled.
Young Belle nodded. "Yes, father. I understand," she whispered.
