“I’m sorry, I wanted to go on the swings but by idiot brother dragged me here” he grumbled
"Where is he? Did he just leave you here by yourself?"

"Where is he? Did he just leave you here by yourself?"
Blue stumbled into his room. Everything hurt. The tears were already pouring out of him, though he should be used to it by now. He gingerly got onto his bed, swiping at his tears. He folded in on himself, curling up. He wished he would’ve got Vash’s number so he could at least call her on his flip phone. He cried harder. He felt so alone.
“I’m sorry, I wanted to go on the swings but by idiot brother dragged me here” he grumbled
"Where is he? Did he just leave you here by yourself?"
“He went with his friends and I’m left waiting for my mom.”
He stood and hugged her from behind. "I don't know what's going on, but I'm here." He had no idea what she was going through but he wanted to help. "I'm here." His chin rested on the top on his head.
As he wrapped his arms around her waist, she closed her eyes. Look at what you've done. She sighed and felt her eyes well up with tears beneath her eyelids. She squeezed them shut in attempt to prevent tears from falling. But she failed. A tear fell and left a trail for the wind to chill. She put her hands on his that held on to her tight, and yet so gentle.
Vash took her phone out of her pocket and then remembered, crap I didn't get his number. I'm the morning… "I hope he's alright." She said out loud, just as she did the front door slammed shut. He was home.
(Oof I didn't mean the I'm the morning as in its morning now. Sorry!)
"Will Beth or Sam let you stay at either one of their houses?" He didn't think it was a good idea for her to go home. "If not, I can find you a place to stay." Her held her tighter. He wanted to make her feel safe that if she was with him nothing bad would happen. He turned her around so she was facing him. "Its alright." Wipping away her tears and set his forehead on her's.
“He went with his friends and I’m left waiting for my mom.”
"Then why did he even drag you here if he was going to leave with friends?"
“His friends just showed up. They weren’t supposed to come.” He sighed “I’m so rude, I’m Liam.”
She closed her eyes as his forehead met hers. She could feel and hear him breathing and began to breathe in sync. "Sam has seven siblings and wouldn't have room. Beth… Her parents loves me like another daughter. But they would overreact and things would be done that really shouldn't. I'll be fine. Really. There's a cheap hotel not too far from here. I'm friends with the owner's daughter. I- Yeah."
Her foster father knocked on her door rather loud. She didn't pay attention to it though. She only curled up and covered her ears. "Open your door now!" He shouted angrily. Not now she thought to herself as she drifted off to sleep.
Blue heard a banging on the door. Hadn’t his father just left? Not now, please not again, Blue thought desperately. No more knocks came afterwards though, and Blue fell into an exhaustion induced sleep.
"Okay. I just want you to go somewhere safe." Xavier intertwined his fingers with hers. "I'll still walk you there though, and it's getting late so we should probably head that way." He didn't want to keep her out late, especially on a school night.
“His friends just showed up. They weren’t supposed to come.” He sighed “I’m so rude, I’m Liam.”
"Nice to meet you Liam, I'm Ash." She said, holding out her hand to him. "By the way, your brother sounds like my friend who dragged me here too. She left me here when she saw some other friends somewhere over by the ferris wheel."
Forehead still on his and eyes still closed, she sighed. "I just want to stay here for a few more minutes." She knew she was being selfish, he did have school the next day, so did she, but she just wanted to feel safe for a little longer.

“I wonder if they know each other. Wanna go on the swings with me?” He asked
"That's fine." He led her to the bench and sat down. His feet were getting tired and sitting sounded nice. "We can stay a few more minutes." He was happy she didn't want to leave, because he didn't either. They had a weird connection from the start, it was something Xavier could describe.
“I wonder if they know each other. Wanna go on the swings with me?” He asked
"Sure, let's go." Ash smiled and grabbed Liam's arm, pulling up off the bench and after her through the crowd to the swings.
Kate pulled her knees up to her face once she sat down. She placed her head on his shoulders. She wanted to make time stop. But she couldn't. She just. Couldn't. "I'm sorry."
"For what?" He was confused for why she was saying sorry. His fingers ran up and down her arm, as she leaned on him. Why was she sorry? She had nothing to be sorry for.

They reach the swings “i dibs that one.” He said pointing
As he touched her, everything seemed a little bit better. She closed her eyes and clenched her jaw. "I- I don't know. I'm sorry I dragged you into this. I'm sorry I freaked out and then fell on you at the Ferris wheel. I'm sorry that I lied. I'm just sorry. For everything."
"Well, you don't have to be." He laid his head on hers. It was like everything was perfect, if only for a moment. "Its nice being here with you."
They reach the swings “i dibs that one.” He said pointing
"Okay then." Ash laughed and let go of Liam's arm, letting him take the lead.
He went and sat on a swing near the edge of the ride
"It really is." She opened her eyes. "We should probably get going, huh?" There was a hint of disappointment in her voice.
"Yeah." He led her down the little path and out into the open. "You led the way, and I'll follow."
(Sorry it was short. I have to go for a bit, but I'll be back later.)
He went and sat on a swing near the edge of the ride
(I'm not sure what these swings look like so I'm just gonna take a guess, sorry)
Ash sat in the next swing closest to Liam so they could still talk. "What's your brother's name? If he's friends with my friend, I might know him."
