I used to be rich(ish) and bought so many god damn books but now I don't have any money and I can't buy books bc food comes first and I want to cry bc I'd honestly rather read than eat

Do you ever just get happy and your life is great until you realize that those in your life will take your source of happiness from you so you get your depression back and try to numb yourself so it will hurt less?

Well, I'm assuming you're not 18 yet, so I'd just try to think about the fact that soon you'll be out. You'll be free, and you can be happy. It might be years away, and it's going to be a struggle getting through those years, but you are going to get there. And once you do, it'll feel like pure bliss, knowing that there's nobody in your life that's controlling you anymore.

Ah. My like 4th hurricane? (Now Superstorm Sandy is what freaked us out. We literally drove past a light pole, and the cop was laughing at it. THERE WERE FREAKING PINE NEEDLES THAT WENT THROUGH A LIGHT POLE. WHAT KIND OF FORCE DOES A PINE NEEDLE NEED TO GO THROUGH A LIGHT POLE???)

It's dangerous. That is why I don't go outside on really really windy days of fear of being skewered by a pine needle…
