"I love helping 'people like you'. Tell you the truth, I'd ditch my position if I could. I've wanted to do my hair blue for so long, but whenever I tell my mum, she says something stupid like "A Queen shouldn't have bright blue hair" or "It's a Queen's duty to look natural". "
"I like that, thats a pretty name. Do you speak any english? No wait. Uhh Soy habla Ingles?" I didn't know spanish that well as other langueges, but I tried my best.
(She's from Mexico. Yes, she's slightly bilingual in English.)
"A little," I responded in a thick accent. I knew very little English, but I would have to try my best.
Alexa ended up stumbling upon a her dorm again. She decided to give up on reading the map and went back inside her room. She was bored. She hadn't met anyone yet and her roommate hadn't even showed up. She decided to Facetime her mothers and give them updates on how it has been going so far.
(Yo Queen
you're our roommate.)
"Eh, dye your hair blue if you want. Put it up in a hat all the time. Isn't that a queenish thing to do, wear their hair in hats?" I ask, looking down at Eliza.
"A little," I responded in a thick accent. I knew very little English, but I would have to try my best.
"Thats ok, I bet they'll teach you it here." Zoe replied before she picked a bed near the window. "Do you think they have a salon here?" She asked.
"Besides, it'll fade by the time term ends. Just dye it, yo!" I blurt before realizing just how poor that sounds. "Sorry. I shouldn't be talking street to a queen - even one like you."
"Talk however you want. My mother is the Queen, not me. I probably won't be Queen either until I'm like 60."
"Alrighty, well, like I said, if you use temporary dye, it only lasts for about three months at tops. You could totally dye it, like, tommorow, and you'd be chill. Unless your parents visit, in which case you fake go out and can't come by the school that day."

"Que?" I asked. She had left my range of understanding. I wonder what tier she is anyway.

"Sorry, anyway Im a 3." Zoe held up three fingers.
"Alrighty, well, like I said, if you use temporary dye, it only lasts for about three months at tops. You could totally dye it, like, tommorow, and you'd be chill. Unless your parents visit, in which case you fake go out and can't come by the school that day."
"You really think it would work? I've never been good at lying to my parents."
"Of course! You won't be forced to talk to them. If they call you, let it go to voicemail. If they want to see you, avoid them! It's really not hard."
"You don't know my mother," I say softly. Then I pipe up. "I'll show you the way."
"Thank…you? I'm sorry, did I say something wrong?" I ask, rushing to touch the princess' shoulder.
I looked down at my information letter. My roommate was Eliza West-Phillips. I knew that last name. She was an Australian princess. During the war, Australia had been an amazing ally who had helped us win. Unfortunately, ones tended to be snobs. I crossed my fingers and prayed that she was a nice person. I knew she might have some kind of wrong perception about me as well
"Thank…you? I'm sorry, did I say something wrong?" I ask, rushing to touch the princess' shoulder.
"No, it's fine. Don't worry about it."
(also @NotAfraidToRead Eliza's name is actually Elizabeth, but her nickname is Eliza. it would be Elizabeth on the sheet)
"Alright. Should I not bring it up again? I'm so very sorry, it was just a suggestion - we could still do it if you want - good, god, I'm talking to a princess - I'm so sorry-" I get cut off by Eliza.
(My roommate doesn't seem like she is coming to the game so could I take the extra person with three and if she comes back she could be with them?)
I couldn't stand waiting. I walked outside and saw a girl with dyed hair and a girl with hair that slowly got lighter as it went down. I brushed my own hair behind my ears and went to talk to them. (I don't know how to italicize I'm gonna make a guess) You can do this, I thought as I walked over. You can do this "H-hi," I stuttered
(i love it… when i'm not assigned to a dorm. mmmm great)
