“So then you better not go soft. You better be ready to kill, no hesitation,” Marco said quietly, but harshly, as his examined his sword in the dimly lit servant hall.

Halo sighs softly, landing on a roof. He was in too much pain to move. He lays down, curling his wings around himself to keep warm. he knew he needed medical attention but…

"I guess, but usually i don't really kill. They can do that themselves sometimes." he replied back.

(Let's just say Raven - oh and I noticed I named her Alexa but she seems more like a Raven to me- was outside and had left when they left and now she is in an alley)
Raven went into a nearby alley contemplating what she saw. She didn't even know what she was doing back there. All she knew was that she had to protect Halo and Esmeray but she couldn't even do that.

Halo sobs softly, hissing at his own pain.

"I guess, but usually i don't really kill. They can do that themselves sometimes." he replied back.

“You don’t really kill?” Marco sneered, levitating a knife to point at Ryver’s neck, “You’re going to kill, Ryver, or else I don’t expect you to make it a single day with my plan.”

He slowly stands, shaking his head. "I gotta… Ah…" He winces in pain, falling to his knees.

"Ugh, fine. I will." he rolled his eyes as he agreed.

Marco flicked his knife back to him, but kept it at ready just in case.

Halo falls, screaming in pain when he feels his wing cracks. "Shit…" he mutters, hissing.

Esmeray popped up. "Told you."

He shrieks, backing up. "Esmeray! Hi.."

"Sorry to scare you."

"I-It's fine." he winces.

"Should've guessed you weren't actually okay…"

"Ehehe…" He shrugs, then groans. "Wing…"

She gave him a 'you idiot take fucking care of yourself for once in your life' look. "Need some help?"

"Sure." He says quietly. "Much appreciated."

She sighed. "Come on." She said, helping him up

He nods, smiling lightly, "Thanks."

"Let's go, you self sacrificing idiot."

"Thanks for the compliment… And saving me." He says grimacing in pain.

"No problem." She remarked, starting to lead him away.

He walks with her, limping slightly due to the dagger in his leg, holding his arm to his chest, because of his thumb and his wing was bent at an odd angle, since he managed to break it.

She looked him over. "You." She monotoned. "Are a fucking mess."

"I noticed." He says lightly. "Stupid me for getting caught."

"Not really. I blew our cover."

"How?" He asks, glancing at her.

"You could've gotten away with saying there was noise, my big mouth let them know we were looking for them."

"I-It's okay." He says lightly. "No harm done. I've had worse." he assures.
