Halo screamed, "I-" his wings flutter uselessly. "I heard there was a commotion so I came to check it out." He shakes his head, at least his wings were okay…

“Now that’s better. Now you really learned your lesson about snooping, haven’t you?” Marco drawled, letting go of the angel’s now-broken thumb, “Unfortunately, you aren’t much use to me other than dead.” Marco got ready to plunge the knife into the male’s throat.

Halo gulps, his eyes going wide at the knife, he shuts his eyes, why the hell. He's tried. He's tried fighting. He's tried defending himself. No one is gonna miss him. He shuts his eyes. Maybe giving up is a better idea.

Ryver heard Marco threatening someone and was a bit curious to see so he went over there.

"Halo? They're still not anywhere, have you had any better luck?" Esmeray called, walking somewhere in the shadows nearby.

Marco smiled, but didn’t remove the knife from the angel’s neck, “Hmmm. It seems you have an accomplice. You-whooo! We’re over here, darling,” Marco made the knife flash in the light, “It seems you were searching for me. Why is that?”

"Hey Marc-" he blinked and looked at what was going on then asked "What is going on here? and how did you get them?"

She cursed quietly. "Aaaaaaaaaaand fucking-" She held her breath, hiding herself more, ready to spring.

Halo looks up, his eyes widen. "Esmeray! Run!" He yells. He was fine with getting hurt, but not if his teammates were thrown into it. "Run!"

“But if you, darling Esmeray,” Marco’s smile glinted in the night, “Run, who will bargain for this little angel’s life?”

Ryver walked over and sat on the ground and looked at Marco "so care to share how you did it?" he asked

She glared, letting the shadows rip around Marco. "Go!"

"I don't care if I die! Just don't touch my teammate!" He cries, his eyes going wide. He struggles against the others grip. Hissing when his wing cracks again.

he sighed and made an illusion appear for Esmeray about her past.

“All I have to do is think,” Marco pushed the knife closer to the angel’s neck for emphasis, “To shove that into his throat.” Marco chose to ignore Ryver’s question. He’ll tell him when these two were dead and gone.

She froze, trying not to give him a reaction

He then changed the illusion to be a crowd of people who were all asking her questions at once.

“Now play nice,” Marco drawled, “and I’ll ask you one last time. Why were your specifically searching for me?”

"Shit… Nope." She said, slipping back into the dark "Nope."

"Just run!" Halo yells. "Get out of here!" He gulps at the knife at his throat. "Go!" He yells.

Marco looked at Ryver, “Come on, I need to talk to her, no need to whip out you magic just yet.”

"We weren't specifically looking for you! There was a commotion reported abd we came to check it out." Halo says, his breathing heavy.

She crept around behind Ryver, before pouncing.

"ah, really?" he yelled

"Yes." She said, perfectly deadpan

Marco frowned at the tidbit about a report. He didn’t move the knife, despite ‘Esmeray’ holding Ryver captive, “Who gave you this report?”

Raven sees the four people in the room with Halo about to be choked. She knows she is risking her life at this point and uses her telekinesis to move the knife from Halo's throat and far out of the man's reach.

Raven also knows that she exposed herself and just froze. She had no idea what to do at this point. She saw the pools of blood on the floor nearby and the bodies. All she did was cross her fingers and wait for the consequences of her actions.

(Marco is levitating the metal with his mind)

Marco felt a sharp tug on his knife, but he made sure it didn’t move, “So how many more of you are there?”
