He came back to the coffee shop late that night before it closed.

Max was sleeping on the couch in the backroom.

He quietly walked in the back made a coffee and left money on the counter.

Still sleeping.

He quietly walked out the back door.

Still sleeping

He went back to work.

Max woke up by rolling off the couch and walked out the back door to see Colden. "Oh, hey."

"hey." he smiled

"When did you come in?" He smiled back.

"a few minutes ago, i am on break."

"Okay then."

"yeah…"

Max quickly went on his phone and looked around for jobs again.

He walked to his other job.

He took off his apron, put on his jacket, and went to his house.

He went home late that night

Max flopped down on his couch and fell asleep.
