Ruby turned to William. "William, sir, you have to try my Vladimir's confections! I would happily take my death eating some of these." She finished her second piece of cake.

William turned around and did a bow, "My lady, I'd gladly try your Vladimir's confections." William stared at all of the sweets, "Wow, these do look impressive."

"Oh, but they are! Victorie tells me to stop eating, but with these laid out in front of me, I'm afraid she'll be disappointed." Vladimir picks out five of his truffles and puts them on a plate for Ruby.

"Victorie, huh?" William paused for a second and then a few seconds later he put a strawberry flavoted piece of cake on his plate and grabs a fork.

Elliot walks inside the ballroom and starts talking to another guard

Victoria spotted Elliot and grinned. She walked over to him in a hasty but dignified manner. "Elliot! What a surprise!" she said.

“Victoria!” He smirked “how are you enjoying this fine evening?”

"I find it lovely, thank you." she said.

William took a bite of the strawberry cake, his eyes still scanning the room.

“Who did you allow to escort you?”

"I allowed myself. If I require help I will ask for it." she said coldly, but warmed up her tone almost immediately and said, "Would you like to dance with me?"

“I am sorry for offending you, I assumed you came with a partner.” He said bowing “I’d love to dance.”

"I decided that coming with a partner would not be…. right." she said, walking with Elliot to the dance floor. "Would you prefer to lead?" she asked.

“You are the queen!” He teased

Andion still watched from the side, muttering a few things to his guards before continuing to patrol the outside of the ballroom room

"I know I am. As I said before, would you like to lead in this dance? A proper gentleman would." she said.

He nodded and stuck his hand out

Victoria took the hand and they started to dance, gently swaying around the floor.

From the corner of his eye, he saw Victoria dancing with another guy. He took another bite of the strawberry cake and continued watching them.

“You should have led, I don’t even know how to dance.” He laughed

"You'll learn."

He Laughed quietly

Claira stared at herself in the mirror. The white fabric brought out her orange hair and blue eyes. The clock showed that Xavier was somewhat late. She opened the door to see that he had been waiting silently outside.
"Xavier."

"Claira, you look.." Xavier looked her up and down. "Beautiful." A smile crept onto his face. "You ready?" He held out his arm for her. She was beautiful, he's going to have to watch out for other guys. There are definitely some that are going to make moves on her and he won't let that happen.

Victoria suddenly spun them both around, this move caused her to stumble and trip into Elliot's arms, making the situation even more awkward.

Claira smiled slightly and took his arm. He looked great; She would have to keep a look out for other girls trying to steal him.

When the doors opened, people were already dancing and chatting. "Seems were late." He smiled down at her. "Sir, Xavier!" A few girls shouted and waved. Xavier smiled and waved back to be polite. "What do you want to do first?"

Beat the crap out of those girls. "Dance!"

The girls, too, were on the dance floor. Claira could see the excited looks on their faces as she and Xavier approached. Unbelievable! Despite the fact that she was holding his arm, the girls seemingly couldn't take a hint and still giggled, whispered excitedly and changed their facial expressions to ones that portrayed attempted aloofness.

"Alright." Xavier led Claira to the dance floor. Laying one hand on her waist he grabbed her hand with the other and took the lead. "Do you even know how to dance?" He grinned playfully. Her dress looked beautiful on her. He ignored all the other girls because the only one that matter to him was Claira.
