My parents have already said that if our fam down there needs us, we're flying out, and heading to SC while everyone is heading away… (Plus, my mom has already volunteered to work in SC if they need her as a backup vet during this time…)

It's dangerous. That is why I don't go outside on really really windy days of fear of being skewered by a pine needle…
