"Yes, I understand that, love. It's just…" He shook his head.
"Yes, I understand that, love. It's just…" He shook his head.
"Just what?" Vien asked, tilting his head in a sort of curious, confused manner
"So weird to me." Vin put his hands on his hips and gave a confused shake of his head.
"You're saying a dragon…is weird?" Vien asked slowly
"Well, in a good way. He's great, but… I dunno."
"You're making less sense the more you talk," Vien chuckled
Vin sighed. "I just feel like I might offend you if I say the wrong thing. I'm not good with words."
"Well, I don't think you could offend me if you wanted to," Vien said with a small laugh. He finished his food before working on finishing his coffee
Vin shrugged again. "I don't want to test that."
"Come on, just say what you wanted to say," Vien insisted after taking a sip of coffee
"Well, it's kinda weird, but a good weird, that you can make a dragon. At will!"
"Summon, not make. Two different things," Vien pointed out
"Still awesomely weird."
"Yeah, I'm pretty weird," Vien chuckled. He eventually finished his coffee, and he got up to throw his plate away before setting his mug and silverware in the sink
Vin studied the sleepy dragon on the fridge, kneading the balled up paper towel he used to dry his hands.
Baal was now draped half off the fridge, seemingly sleeping upside down. Vien smiled, wrapping an arm around Vin before kissing his cheek
Vin looked at Vien. "That's one hell of a dragon."
"He gets bigger. I have to put a lot of effort into it, but I can help him grow to the size of a large skyscraper," Vien hummed
"Once again. Weird. But awesome."
Vien rolled his eyes with a small laugh. "You're such a dork."
"Yeah, but it's not every day I see a dragon."
"Fair point. Though since you're a demon I would think you would have seen one already," Vien pointed out
"No, I haven't. I wish I could summon one." He reached up and stroked Baal's head.
"He's a handful, but they're definitely fun," Vien chuckled. Baal yawned before nuzzling into Vin's hand
"Do you think that it's just limited to your magical group?" Vin looked at Vien.
"You mean, witch-exclusive?" Vien asked with an arched brow
"Yes." Vin grinned hastily.
Vien shrugged. "Not sure. Witches always have familiars, though summoning isn't exclusive to them."
Vin shook his head. "Cool to know." He grinned at Vien and lifted the dragon off of the fridge and held him like a child.
Baal whined when he was removed from the fridge, though he quickly made himself comfortable in Vin's arms
