“How did you know when you liked Oliver, like more than a friend?” Rose took a bite of bacon.

"Mmmm… I dunno." He smiled. "I suppose I always liked him more than others I've met."

“Did you know before you even talked to him?”

"No, I worked with him a couple times and became friends with him."

“Was there this special feeling you got when ever you look at him?” Rose moved around her hands as she talked.

"Yeah, I felt really warm in the chest whenever I talked to him. I also felt really conscious of how I looked, too." He chuckled. "College could've been a bad time for me if it weren't for him."

(Night)

“Ya, well I’m glad he was in college with you then.”

Mike smiled warmly at her. "I am too. Are you planning to go to college?"

“Yes, I’ve always wanted to.”

"I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for Oliver and I to assist you in that. Did you have a certain subject or major in mind?"

“I’ve always liked singing and acting, mostly singing, but it’s hard to get a job with those.”

"There's a college specialized in those majors, and they help them get jobs too."

"I know, but the competition is so hard now of days."

Mike smiled warmly at her after swallowing some egg. "You'll rangle some job in, you're more than talented enough."

"I know I can do it, its just starting off is hard."

"Starting off is always hard, no matter what you do."

"What was your dream when you were my age?"

"Hmmm…" Mike turned his fork over repeatedly. "I don't remember."

"How could you not remember?" Rose looked shocked.

"I dunno! A lot slips my mind." He grinned faintly and continued enjoying his breakfast.

"Wow," Rose said jokingly sarcastic, "do you know your anniversary date?"

"Yeah, April twenty-seventh."

“Your birthday?”

"Uhhhh… December nineteenth."

“Oliver’s birthday?”

"Uhhh… November twenty-third."

“Don’t know if you know this one, but my birthday?”

"You haven't told me." Mike glanced up after a moment of thought.

“February 11th, Emilia’s birthday?”

"She… hasn't told me either. She doesn't talk much."
