“What are we doing there?” She asked

"Hopefully making contacts with the natives," Cicada responded, "It's unclaimed, but Jade and Onyx are fighting over it."

“If we claim it, we’ll have a place if our own.” She smirked

"If we try to claim it, the natives won't take kindly to us," Brooke declared.

"We already have Crystalline. We don't need more land River."

“Fine.” She sighed

“Why do you think we should claim it anyways?”

“So that Jade and Onyx work together for once. Then fighting is giving me a headache.” She laughed

"I'm not sure if that would make it any better," Brooke spoke up.

“It wouldn’t. If anything worse. Besides the kingdoms have been fighting each other for centuries.”

“When do you think we’ll reach there?” She asked

Brooke thought for a moment, her mind going over the route.

"I'd say one to two weeks, depending on a lot of things," she said.

“Alright.”

Josiah let Zoe work on his strange state. After a few moments, he panted out a sentence.
"What is it?"

Cicada stood up and moved towards the door, "I do think it's time I did something. Brooke, River, get us ready to sail. We leave as,soon as possible."

"I don't know, what do you think caused it, have you been bit, sick, did you hurt yourself?" She asked

Houston heard the clunk clunk of Cicada's large boots above his deck. Hurriedly putting away his pets and unlocking the door just in case she came into his room, he hid in the large closet next to his bed. Hopefully, she wouldn't find him - just assume he died or something. The shame was too much, she couldn't see his tear-streaked face - even if he was already practically banished by now.

"Nothing of the sort, not at all. Give me my crystal, please. This has happened before, and my crystal helped. Just - give." Josiah's voice creaked and cracked like an old rocking chair.
