"So…you do know about this stuff." Luca smiled. "As long as I get answers, sure."
"So…you do know about this stuff." Luca smiled. "As long as I get answers, sure."
Ashira brought Luca to her apartment. She took her hoodie. "Ok. So my powers. I was born with them. And you're gonna have to be more specific about the 'weird crazy stuff'.
"Well, there's me with my crazy water power thing. Then I met you with the wolf ears, Cece who might not actually be like us but she seems suspicious, and Skylar who I'm absolutely sure has powers." Luca stopped to take a breath. "And why are the only people here like me girls?"
"Skylar? I have no idea who she is. And I don't know why you are the only boy." Ashira responded.
(What I really want to say: "Because the narrators like rping girls. Ok?" XD)
(pfft)
Luca shook his head. "That doesn't matter. Do you know anything else about this stuff?"
Cece looked at the girl, thinking of a way to explain. “I rigged it. You just need to spin the knob right. See?” she said, turning the radio on.
Skylar nodded, "Could you teach me?" she asked, knowing how to do that could be useful.
"Uhh…" Cece replied, rather unintelligibly. Crap, she didn't know how to rig things without her powers.
"Not much, I'm not really from here. My powers aren't like your guy's." Ashira said. "I had this to help me with my powers." She held up her leather notebook.
"Wait…" Crap. Luca had left his brother's journal at his apartment. "I have something just like that. It has a small droplet and a quote on the front."
"Hmm…" she hummed quietly. She paused for a second then continued "My parents gave it to me. It has stuff to help me control and use my powers." Ashira stated. 'He had a notebook like hers?' Ashira thought 'Probably just a coincidence.'
"Oh. Mine was my brother's. I…haven't read what's in it." Luca made plans to read it when he got back home.
"Does your family know about your powers?" Ashira asked him.
Luca shook his head. "I just figured out a few weeks ago myself. I wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy before I told people."
Skylar waited for the girl to answer, "So?" she asked. Skylar was genuinely curious. (Btw, my character says she's a villain, but I decided against it. She's a hero now, not a villain. :))
“I can’t show you how to rig it… because it’s already rigged?” Cece replies, knowing she didn’t sound convincing. At all.
(Okay, cool)
(is it too late to join?)
(No. Go ahead and Join. I'm sure it's fine. :) )
"Ok, then I'll get my broken radio from my house," Skylar said, now suspicious of the girl, "Come on, you can come with me."
"Uhh… alright." Cece replied, suspicious that the girl was going to bring her to an alleyway and kill her… or something.
Skylar led the girl to her house and unlocked her door, "Come in and make yourself at home!" Skylar invited. She walked to the other room and grabbed the old radios she had. She walked into the room the girl was in, "I have two old radios," she said, "but before that, introductions! Hi, I'm Skylar. You can call me Sky if you want."
"Cece." she introduced, looking a the girl's radios. "Why do you have so many?"
Skylar shrugged, "I break things really easily. I have more than these if it doesn't work the first few times."
"That seems like a pretty good reason not to tell anybody." Ashira joked. She grabbed a peice of paper and wrote her number on it. "If you have any more quetions, or power stuff feel free to give me a call" She said, then handed him the paper.
Luca was disappointed in himself. The first time he gets a girl's number and it's because they both have weird in-human abilities. "Thanks." He responded, taking the paper and stuffing it in his pocket.
"Would you like anything to eat or drink?" Skylar asked the girl.
“No thanks. I’m not really thirsty or hungry.” Cece replied. She walked ovr to the radios and put one on the ground, then sat next to it. If she was going to pull off this lie, she would probably need tools. “Do you have any tools? Like a screwdriver?”
Skylar nodded, "Yeah, I have some right here," she pulled out a toolbox from the drawer in the room, "Will this be enough tools?" she asked and opened the box to reveal a plethora of tools.
