I just had a conversation with my mom that was really awkward
She told me I should have my hormones checked to make sure that it wasn't causing my asexuality
She then proceeded to tell me that the statistics of me finding another asexual partner was extremely low

You don't need to have an asexual partner to love whoever your partner is though. I once heard a straight/ace couple talk about LGBTQIA+ rights, and they pointed out that as long as you both love each other and the relationship is a healthy one you're good to go.

Some people just are. Glad you're fine with it though, and hopefully your mother might be able to someday understand your identity as an asexual isn't really a big deal (well, I mean, it is a big deal because it matters and you don't want to be in an unhealthy relationship but I'm just trying to say that your sexuality isn't your identity and that you're a strong young man/woman/other of God or whatever deity you worship, or if you don't worship anything at all that's fine and oh frick I'm rambling sorry!) and that you'll be able to hopefully make a connection with someone someday and be happy with them. You are a wonderful human being, and you have amazing potential!
