@rot-baby-rot!
"Shh," August muttered soothingly. "It's going to be okay." He rested his head on Meun's. "No one's going to hurt you anymore."

Riverpaw walked up to the counter, grabbing Tsunami so she wouldn't start running around the store again, and she leaned over and smiled at the figure crouching under it. "Micah?" The man looked up and smiled at her. "Hey, Riverpaw! Good to see you again!"
"Mm, y-you too, Micah."
The dark-toned, slightly-English-accented man finished arranging whatever it was under the counter and went over to pat Tsunami's head. "So how are ya, kiddo? Those..buddies of yours still lookin' out for ya?" Riverpaw couldn't help but snicker. Her dad and Raphael Micah had been good friends, and Micah, as he preferred to be called, always worried about her. Especially when he found out who she'd been hanging with for the last couple of years. "I'm fine, Micah, really. Th-they're good friends."
"Uh-huh, so you say. But then you come here every few weeks or so for new medical supplies for 'em."
"Y-yeah, well…Belle's waiting for me outside, s-so.."
"Ah, yes, Belle. Her I know I can trust. Alrighty, kiddo, what do you need?" Riverpaw told him her list, just a few things she thought would come in handy, and he wrote it all down on a piece of paper. He looked it over, then turned it to her and pointed to one of the items. "Your timing couldn't be any unluckier, I ran out of these just this morning and I haven't put in an order for more yet."
Riverpaw thought for a moment, then nodded. "That's fine, I-I think we can do without them f-for a while." Micah grinned and turned to one of the back rooms. "Be right back." In the meantime, Riverpaw headed to the aisles to look for other stuff.
A few minutes later, Micah called her back to the counter, and she snatched a small band-aid box from the floor before Tsunami could get it. She went back to the counter, paid for the items with some of the money her dad had given her, and said goodbye to Micah, who called to her as she walked towards the door. "Don't forget to let me know if-"
"If they give me trouble, I-I know. See you!" She giggled as she went up to Belle and held up two bags for her to see. "Okay, I'm good."
(oh hickety hecc that's longer than I thought it'd be)
(nice, where should i come in?)
(probably when we do the party scene. everyone's kinda all over the place atm)
(ok i'll be back then)
“GO!” Aspen let go of the breaks and the bike moved forwards. 20 minutes later aspen was laughing “so that’s 200$ in prize money and 200$ in bet money.” She smirked holding all the cash
Belle nodded. "All right. Do you want to go back to my place before the party, or do you want to go home?" she asked, heading back to her bike.
She put the cash in her biker bag. She came back and punched Claws nose “that’s for trying to sabotage me on the sharp curve.” She growled
"Mm…w-we can go to your place." Riverpaw walked alongside her, swinging the bags happily. As strange as it may sound, getting new medical supplies always made her happy. She took her practice very seriously.
"Okay. Let's go, then. We can stuff your bags under the seat," Belle directed. "Then we can leave."
Riverpaw nodded getting to the klbike and opening the seat. Tsunami sat next to her and barked at a few cars on the street. When Riverpaw was done, she picked up the pup and got on the bike, putting her helmet on.
(I'm watching a Barbie movie with kids…)
Belle put her helmet back on and hopped onto her bike. She revved the engine a couple of times, gaining some annoyed glances from random people. A while later, they arrived at Belle's apartment complex, and she jumped down and slipped her helmet off.
(noice)
Riverpaw hopped off and put Tsunami on the ground, then got her stuff from under the seat and followed Belle, watching Tsunami run up to the complex door.
(Eh. I'd rather watch something else, but the girl wanted to, so…)
Belle unlocked the door and stepped inside. Taking the stairs, she led Riverpaw and Tsunami to her suit and opened the door.
"Liz, I'm back! And I brought Riv and Tsuna!" she called as she walked inside.
The sound of something crashing to the floor came from one of the bedrooms, and a blonde woman who looked about the same age as Belle emerged not long after. Liz was covered in paint from head to toe, and there was even some in her hair and on her face.
"The puppy's here?!?" she exclaimed as she raced over, wiping her hands on the black apron that she wore.
Meun sniffled, wrapping his arms around August as he cried. He had always been a crybaby, but this was the first time he hadn't been yelled at or hurt for crying
August closed his eyes for a moment, still rubbing soothing circles on Meun's back. "Let's sit down, alright?" He said, maneuvering them towards the bed. He sat down slowly, his arms never letting go, only shifting to hold on tighter. "I have you. It's okay."
Meun sat down next to him, still sniffling and crying softly. He buried his face in the front of August's shirt, not wanting him to have to see him as he cried
Tsunami ran up to Liz, barking and jumping at her legs, while Riverpaw set her bags down for a moment so she could take her helmet off.
August gave Meun a fond look. He pulled away so he could see his face. "Nothing's going to hurt you anymore." He muttered, reaching up. He cupped Meun's face with his hand and brushed some of the tears away with his thumb. "I have you."
Meun sniffled, his breath catching as he continued to sob. "I'm s-sorry you have to see me like this," he choked out, though he found himself torn between moving closer or farther away from August
August continued to brush the tears away with his thumb. "I'm always going to be here for you, no matter what. I don't care what happens, okay? I'll be here." He said, giving a small smile. "Besides, you still look cute, even when you're crying into my shirt, so you don't need to worry about that."
Meun laughed a little at that, the noise still sounding sad. "I'm so ugly when I cry," he eventually managed. "And I would know, I cry all the time."
"Well I beg to differ." August said, his face soft, fond. "I think you look just as pretty as you always do."
"I'm not pretty," Meun sobbed. "I'm disposable," he managed before breaking down again
August pulled Meun closer, his arms wrapping around him once more. "Don't you ever say that again, okay? Because you're one of the most amazing people I know. You're unique, and kind, and funny, and cute. I don't think I could've made it through what you did. You've been so, so, strong, and it's okay if you let others be strong for you for a while. You are not replaceable or disposable, and anyone who told you that you are was just lying."
Tsunami ran up to Liz, barking and jumping at her legs, while Riverpaw set her bags down for a moment so she could take her helmet off.
(Sorry! Was putting kids to bed.)
Liz laughed and bent down to pet the dog, and Belle went to help Riverpaw with her things.
"So, Liz, have you started setting up for the party tonight?" Belle asked, giving her roommate a knowing look. The woman's eyes widened, and she let out a soft curse under her breath. Belle laughed. "I'll take that as a 'no.'"
