"Okay then." He chuckled and resumes the movie again while snuggling James.

James smiles and giggles.

He smiled back and watched the movie.

Velius continues reading, humming softly as he does so.

Max kept watching the movie, trying not to fall asleep since he had no sleep last night.

James starts to nod off. Velius chuckles softly, watching the two of them struggle to stay awake.

"Hey, don't laugh! I had to sleep last night!" He said with a slight laugh as he rubbed his eyes to stay awake.

"Rest." Velius says gently. He pauses the show. "You two are exhausted."

"Nuuuu, I'm not tired, and I have another job that I have to go to soon." He replied.

"Yes you are. You won't be able to do your job if you're exhausted." He says, rolling his eyes.

"But I have to go do my job soon."

"You can rest for at least an hour?" He says, rolling his eyes.

"Fine, wake me up in an hour." He checked his email once more and sighed. He made his way to his bedroom and fell asleep the moment he flopped down on his bed.

(Oh! It didn't tell me you had replied!)

Velius smiles in victory and chuckles, picking James up and tucking his little brother in for a nap.

(oh oki den, that happened to me once before too)

Max disappeared under the blankets to stay warm.

Velius hums softly, brushing some hair from his face as he gently rubs James' back.

Still sleeping.

After an hour Velius walks towards Max's room, "Up and at 'em!" he calls through the door, knocking loudly.

"What time is it?" He asked as he rolled off his bed and put in his contacts before opening the door.

He looks at the clock, "Around 3pm. Why?" Velius asks, casually braiding his hair on the couch.

"I was just wondering, is James still asleep?" He asked as he flopped down on the couch next to him and checked his email to see if he had gotten the file yet.

Velius nods and chuckles, tying the braid off. "Yep." He says casually, leaning back.

"Okay then, did you get the file about your next target yet?" He replied, sighing as he leaned back into the couch.

"My company believes I'm dead." He mutters, "I have a new identity, so once my death cools off, I'll look around for a new job." V shrugs.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that, why do you think my boss wanted me to kill you?" he nods, reloading his email hoping he would get the file about his next target.

V shrugs, "I honestly have no idea." He mutters, "Unless I did something to someone higher up while under cover, but that's something I doubt."

"Guess we won't find out yet." He reloaded his email one more time, "Finally!" He said as he quickly read the file and got up, "See you later, gotta kill this guy." He showed the file to V as he pulled up his hoodie and walked out the door.

"Alright, take care." V calls after max as he leaves. He sighs and lets out a soft breath.
