Vien made his way towards the kitchen, yawning as he did so. "Hm, what sounds good for dinner later?" he asked
Vien made his way towards the kitchen, yawning as he did so. "Hm, what sounds good for dinner later?" he asked
"Hmm… steak?" Vin suggested as he flopped down on the couch next to Baal.
"Steak would be good," Vien said. He rummaged through the fridge, just making sure he had steak before going to sit next to Vin. He let his head rest on his shoulder, a smile crossing his face
Vin wrapped an arm around the other as Ruby paced the house, wagging her tail.
Vien snuggled into Vin, smiling as he watched Ruby walk around the house. Baal whined on the couch, seemingly wanting Ruby to come back but not wanting to leave the couch
Ruby barked at him in return and paced back into the kitchen.
"Is she hungry?" Vien asked as he watched Ruby pace around
Ruby barked and Vin shook his head. "She does that to get a feel of a new place."
"Oh. That makes sense," Vien said. He wrapped an arm loosely around Vin, enjoying cuddling him
Vin grinned a little. "So, what now?"
"Well…we could always do something to pass the time until dinner," Vien said, a smirk working its way across his face
"Maybe afterward. Sorry, definitely afterward."
Vien chuckled at that. "You did say you needed the exercise," he hummed, still smirking as he pressed a kiss to the side of Vin's neck
Vin smiled slyly and moved his neck over so Vien got better hold.
Vien continued to press kiss after kiss to Vin's neck, smiling as he did so
Vin leaned away slightly so that they were laying comfortably until Ruby barked loudly from the other room, which badly startled Vien.
Vien fell off the couch with a small yelp. He looked around frantically for a moment, trying to figure out where the sudden, loud noise had come from
"Fuck… RUBY!" Ruby bounded into the room, still panting.
Upon seeing Ruby and recognizing her as the source of the sound, Vien seemed to calm a little. He ran a hand shakily through his hair, his fingers twitching occasionally as he continued to sit there
Vin sat up and leaned down to check on Vien. "Are you okay?"
Vien nodded slowly, though before long he was shaking his head. He curled up into a ball against the couch, his eyes falling shut as he struggled not to start crying at the images now flashing through his mind
Vin slipped off of the couch and pulled the other's head in his lap. Vin stroked Vien's hair as he told Ruby to lay down.
Vien curled up tightly, a small sob escaping him. If he wasn't having to deal with the multitude of memories flashing through his mind, he probably would have mentally slapped himself for breaking so easily at just a bark
Vin moved his hands to Vien's back and started rubbing it, quietly stumped as to what to do.
Vien shifted a little closer to him, the other's touch helping a bit. Baal leaned down from the couch, whining as he slipped off of it and nuzzled Vien's cheek. Vien cracked a small smile, blinking away the tears welling in his eyes as he looked up at the dragon
Ruby gruffed from nearby and Vin shot her a brief "no".
Baal continued to nuzzle Vien's face until he had to sit up to escape him. He leaned against Vien, a hand going to rub at his eyes
Vin pulled him closer and continued the gentle stroking of Vien's hair. "Sorry about Ruby, love. I should've warned you she does that."
"It's alright. I shouldn't have been startled as badly by something like that, my medication takes a little while to kick in sometimes," Vien said, waving him off but still snuggling into Vin
(Ima go to bed. niight)
Vin sighed gently, feeling worried for the other. "Are you sure?"
