Ah, so perhaps I shall hate on Riseley today! Josie thought to himself, before sagging again. No, I'm too tired. I'll just sleep all day, I think. Finishing off his toast, his threw his plate like a Frisbee, landing just an inch away from Cicada's, almost knocking hers to the ground. So close.
Houston, meanwhile, was immensely enjoying the food and barely noticed Josiah's attitude.

@ShadeStar

Cicada stood up scowling at Josiah, "You are to stop or you will walk the plank. You chose to join us, so act like it."

"Has there ever been a time where I haven't done my duties? I'm still one of you by strict definition. And besides," He spoke for the first time in days, "I can swim." And with that, he went sauntering back up to the crow's nest for a good day's sleep.
"Oh, god, Cicada," Houston commented, eyes wide. "What are you doing to do about him?"

Deleted user

Zoe rolled her eyes. "Attitude." She mumbled as she finished up. "So what are we going to do today?"

Deleted user

"I have absolutely no idea. We're just sailing…to where exactly?" Houston looks up so violently that his crystal eye (which wasn't correctly place that morning anyway) falls into his juice.

@ShadeStar

Cicada groaned as she lay her head in her hands. A member of this crew must get along with others. Josiah was new, so he wasn't a member yet. Besides anyone could do his job. She had two problem children, and one asked about the other. Swimming yes he could do, however if he was tied up then he most definitely couldn't. Yeah she might do that, "Someone stop me or else I will murder him."

She stood up, "We're sailing to Onyx. Getting some supplies and then heading out to sea again."

"Books? I love to read, you know. And please kill him before me, if you're going to kill anyone. You said yesterday you didn't hate me after all." Houston replies, still a happy morning flower. He'd be back to his old self after breakfast.

Zoe shrugged. "What ever you need Cap." She responded.

True enough, after Houston pushed his plate away and reset his eye, he groaned.
"The village back on the island is gossiping about you again, Cicada," He informed her, cracking his joints.

@yeetus

"How is it?" Riseley asked, walking though the door, "And don't give me that face. Yes, I made it, surprise."
They made a face and sat down heavily in Houston's old seat.

"Yeah, that and they think you're having a kid with this guy named Oliver who just moved there and for some reason is really shy and stammers a lot. I don't even question it these days."

Deleted user

"Don't ask me - oh, now they think it's more probable that the same thing happened with Josiah. Ew." Houston finished the morning report and sauntered out of the galley.

@yeetus

Riseley made a show of tripping him and took their foot back at the last second, laughing as he almost-tripped and cursed

Deleted user

(who was Riseley tripping? You said he but Cicada was the one walking out…)

Deleted user

(ah)
"Geez, sorry I didn't thank you for the breakfast - it was great. Much better than leftover sushi." Houston mumbles, nearly tripping over the doorframe on his way out. Probably to play angsty viola music in his cannons.

Deleted user

Indeed, a couple seconds later 'Angsty Classical 2: Concerto for Strings' began to echo from the barrels.

Josiah sat on the edge of his bed in the crow's nest, letting the breeze ruffle his already-ruffled hair even more while he fingered his crystal mandala.

Deleted user

"Oh…Cicada." Was his not-ell-thought-out response. The angsty classical filled the crow's nest in a ongoing melody of silence.

@yeetus

Riseley decided that Houston is officially too annoying for anyone's good (or evil, for that matter). They walked out of the galley, to attempt to relax on the deck. If that was possible with Houston's angsty music

Deleted user

Houston could hear footsteps edging closer to his canon. Popping his head out with an annoyed look, he replied, "If you don't like the music, don't make me play it!" and promptly returned to what he was doing.
