Havenwood tossed his long, straight white hair out of his face and leaned against the door. His weird light gray and white pupils stared right at her as he crossed his arms.
"You heard me."
Havenwood tossed his long, straight white hair out of his face and leaned against the door. His weird light gray and white pupils stared right at her as he crossed his arms.
"You heard me."
"I don't believe you, creep. Get away from me so I can pawn this thing." Mozzarella whipped out her blunderbuss and pointed it at 'Artemis'' head. "You got ten seconds to get the heck away."
Havenwood sighed and shifted his weight around. "Go ahead." No fear. Whatsoever. In fact, he sounded bored.
"Excuse you?" Mozzarella studied Havenwod for a couple seconds, then lowered the gun, making sure to keep it cocked. "You're not letting on. Something."
"I'm a God. I can't die." Havenwood said simply. "Plus, I can get you out of here."
"Okay, first of all, you're not a god, and second of all, I don't need to be gotten out. I got what I need right in this place. Soup cans and a rug. What are your living conditions, creep?" Mozzarella decided she wasn't going to call him anything other than 'creep' from then on.
"Do you want proof that I'm a God? Cuz I'll prove it." Havenwood straightened up off of the door.
"Try me." Mozzarella was a bit frightened, but she didn't show it, her dull green eyes flashing in the dark and standing rigid.
Havenwood pulled out, from nowhere, a beautiful bow and arrow. They were laboriously white and silver. It looked too expensive for Mozzarella to even look at.
"Oh, so you can kill people, but I can't kill you? Yeah, that's fair. Verrrryyy fair. And since you have those, what do you need me for? Not that you're actually from Olympus for anything - and a bow and arrow set aren't proof. You could'a bought that."
"No. I can't kill mortals with these." He shot an arrow and it went straight through her. "Proof?"
"What. The. Actual. F***."
Havenwood picked up his arrow and put it back into the bow. He leaned against the door again. "Now will you take me seriously?"
"……."
Havenwood's bow disappeared and he crossed his arms which were burly and muscular. "Well?"
"I'd rather not have anything to do with you. If you know what I mean. In conclusion, no."
"Fine. Give me back the locket and I'll choose some other deadbeat who can make weapons a chance at glory and riches." He stuck out his hand.
She studied the locket. "Why do I need this, anyway? I thought lockets were supposed to be personal and let monkeys fly if I'm related to you."
Havenwood snatched the locket away. "That doesn't matter. When you wake up tomorrow your memories of me and this instance will be erased." He stepped outside of the place they were in and glared over his shoulder as if wishing her a most painful death. "Good day."
"Hey! Wait up! I never said no…oh wait, I did. But hey hey hey! Why so hasty?" Mozarella let out a chuckle, following him out the door, clearly panicking.
Havenwood paused. "What?" He turned on her and glared down at her.
"I'm just….look, I'm down on my luck. I don't wanna be rich or anything, but I don't wanna live in this place forever, either. I'm gonna have kids someday. I need decency. And you're kinda the only person who can offer that." Mozzarella looked down, hands on her blunderbuss.
"Yeah, and?" Havenwood crossed his arms. "Who do you plan to have kids with?"
Mozarella blushed. "I don't know, but I'm going to. I'm twenty-five, I can wait. In the meantime, well…that was very off-topic. I, uh…as long as you don't hurt me, creep." She finishes off the rather sheepish sentence with a stern glare up at Havenwood.
"I don't think I should allow a mortal that's so hollow-headed to join me up in Greece. Especially since there's a war going on."
"Who said I was hollow headed? And who else do you know who can craft this?" Mozarella questions, continuing to glare and holding up her blunderbuss.
"No one I know yet. But since I'm feeling particularly lazy today…." He shoved the locket back at her and glared fiercely at her. "Whenever you're ready to hear more details, just put this on."
After glaring at Artemis for a couple seconds, Mozzarella warily slips the locket around her neck. "What does it do? Am I related to magic or what? Because you won't be able to soften me more than I already am-" (insert thing that would cut her off there idk)
Havenwood waved his arm to cut her off. "Shut up! Okay, I'm not going to soften you up. I'm just trying to get you a job."
(ships them already)

"Does it pay? In things that I could actually use to have a decent life? Money? What else do you freaks pay?"
