Riverpaw smiled behind her hands, her gaze going from Alex to Alice and back again. She figure she should leave them be, and went to go find Cicada.

"Yeah, but you didn't and you never could." Alice scoffed and folded her arms.

he sighed "so… the hell does this mean now?" he asked with an obsidian mask to hide his blush

Cicada was sitting in the nurses office with her fists wound up tight. She was taking deep controlled breaths. Don't loose control. Don't.

"Would you please stop saying that?" Alice rolled her eyes as her fingers trailed down his arm and onto his hand. She thought it was cute that he was so confused. "What do you think it means?"

Riverpaw turned a corner, her ears twitching. Even after a year here, she still wasn't completely familiar with the strange layout of the academy, but she could usually tell where she was by the smell. She followed the rather unpleasant scent of medical supplies and found the nurse's office.

Riverpaw flinched, but got closer to her. "Y-you don't…sound okay." She hesitated, but carefully rested her hands on Cicada's shoulders.
