Jack sighed as he muttered to himself, "I may just kidnap you so you don't have to go."
Jack sighed as he muttered to himself, "I may just kidnap you so you don't have to go."
"What?!" Paige asked. She'd only heard kidnap.
Jack cleared his throat and said almost sheepishly, "I, um, uh. Want to hang out tomorrow?"
Paige was skeptical, but agreed anyway.
Jack beamed, "Great!"
(Would you just want to timeskip?)
(Yeah.)
(Okay so, when should we pick up?)
(Ummmm. Right before Paige needs to go to her 'audition'.)
(Okay. Where should she be? Jack's house?)
(Yeah.)
(Okay.)
Paige stood up. "This was fun Jack. I have to go now," she said, heading for the door.
Jack grabbed her hand and pulled her inside, "Nope! You are staying."
"Jack, you know I can't," Paige insisted.
Jack looked at her eyes, "Yes you can. You don't want to go into acting, so don't force yourself too."
"But she…"
"So what? Does your mom control you? No. no she doesn't."
Paige looked at her feet. "But I should really get going…"
Jack pulled her close, "You don't have to. You could stay all night, my parent's wouldn't care."
"Mine would," she said by instinct.
"Of course they would," Jack grinned, "Haven't you ever disobeyed your parents once? It would be nice to do so right?"
"No… I've never…" Paige felt embarrassed suddenly for always obeying her mother.
Jack laughed, "Well for just one night? Can you not do what she would want you to?"
(So like do you want to timeskip to convincing as well @Jacks347 ?)
"But what happens in the morning?" Paige countered.
(Wait what? Soz I've been busy.)
Jack shrugged, "Um, you could hide here? Or say you got like really sick, but couldn't come home."
"And what happens next week?" Paige asked.
Jack thought for a second, "You spend the week here."
"What will my mom say?" Paige tearfully asked.
