@Fraust
"Yes, Phoenix. I mean, you'd probably know anyways considering 'getting worse' would likely include collapsing." Scipio walked through the door.
"Yes, Phoenix. I mean, you'd probably know anyways considering 'getting worse' would likely include collapsing." Scipio walked through the door.
"Lets hope not.." She mumbles to herself and walks behind scipio.
"Do you think she is far from here?" Phoenix looks around, and crouches down to look at the ice. She slightly touches the ice, and the tip of her finger freezes.
"ouch.." she whispers.
Astra just stood at the entrance of where she shattered the cursed ice revealed two doors, debating if she wanted to open them or not.
Scipio hissed something in Parseltongue that was probably a swear or exclamation of frustration. The other entrance had frozen over again. "Step back, I'll have to use that spell again, and I'd really rather not get almost knocked out again." He moved backwards a couple feet before pointing his wand at the ice. "Bombarda Maxima!" The ice exploded, shooting ice towards and away from them. A large chunk hit him in the face, cutting it, but he didn't seem too concerned.
Phoenix was too distracted by her finger, so she was blown away. not much of course.
She quickly stood back on her feet, and stood by Scipio.
"Are yo…" she realized that she was getting quite annoying by now.
"Never mind…" She hid the hand in her pocket, but saw that it was getting worse.
Scipio noticed her hiding her hand, but didn't mention it. He didn't want to pry. I'll just say that we should both go to the hospital wing later, and then it'll get checked out. "Come on, we should keep moving." He wiped some of the blood off of his face and walked through the entrance.
"uh, yeah, we still have to find Astra, either she likes it or not.."
She unties her hair and puts it in a ponytail and wipes off the tiny crystals from her eyelashes.
Phoenix felt the ice spreading.
"This ice… it's relentless. If we're not careful, we'll catch frostbite." Scipio shivered again and kept walking, his wand raised just in case. "Hello? Is anyone here? Astra?"
His voice echoes and bounces of the walls.
"Not here…"
"Hmm…" Something about this place just made Scipio uneasy. Whether it was the cursed ice or how vacant it seemed, he wasn't sure, but he knew that it wasn't a place he enjoyed being.
( Can we just like idk
go to the frozen doors/)
Phoenix stopped walking for a second and looked at her hand. She took it out of the pocket. Half of her palm was frozen.
"Shit…"
(yea hold on)
( no this.)
Astra just stood at the entrance of where she shattered the cursed ice revealed two doors, debating if she wanted to open them or not.
(are we going to come next to you?)
( yeah?)
Phoenix and Scipio walked for a while, until she heard someone stumping around.
"Shhh… Do you hear that?"
Scipio listened for a moment before running off towards the source of the sound. "Lumos!" He turned the corner, panting, and spotted Astra by some seemingly locked door.
Astra turned around and saw the boy and girl again. "What the heck!" She exclaimed as she held out her wand.
Phoenix took out her wand.
"Geez, calm down…"
"I swear if you try to attack us again I will do something." Scipio gasped for breath. "We're here to help, you idiot. You've been stuck down here for at least a day with no food or anything, so we figured we should do something." He had his wand raised just in case he needed to use it, but hoped that he wouldn't need to. "I'd really rather not get teachers involved, and I'm sure you agree, but if you refuse I'm afraid I'll have no choice."
"yeah well helping isn't exactly leaving me here to starve for at least two days now! If you really wanted to rescue me, you should of done it earlier, why would I even trust you?!" Astra snarled as she backed up against the door.
"WE WOULDVE HELPED YOU! IF YOU WOULDNT HAVE ATTACKED US" Phoenix snapped.
"Why the hell else would we come down here? I'm freezing half to death because of whatever curse this ice has. I'm not just here to explore or have a good time. It's incredibly dangerous down here and quite frankly I don't see why you haven't attempted to get out at all. I know for a fact that you know dozens of simple spells that could get you out, and yet, you didn't."
"Because it's a maze you idiot. No tracking spells work here!" Astra growled. "And I wouldn't exactly trust you, leave me starving and freezing here, thanks."
Phoenix just looked at Scipio without knowing what to say next.
"Like you said, it's a maze! God, how thick could you get? We've been looking, but we couldn't find you. Tracking spells don't work and you didn't respond when I called your name. Not to mention we've basically just been trying to stay alive!" The blood on Scipio's cheek had frozen at this point, and his hair was disheveled. His skin was covered in ice crystals and he looked unusually pale.
Astra rolled her eyes. How Dramatic could he possibly get? "Well if I helps I found this bloody door, so thanks - Not. Gods I thought you were different from the others, but apparently not stupid me." She turned around and found that the door was loss as she opened it
(What do you mean 'the door was loss'?)
