"Well, I'm modeling for you, and that's good enough for me," Erikos said with a small laugh. Eventually the dock was in sight, and Erikos slowed to a stop as he killed the engine. He walked around to the anchor, where he dropped it before stretching
Daus laughed as he ran a hand through his windblown curls, letting out a small yawn as he looked down towards the docks. Everything seemed a lot stranger at night, even the water taking on an odd murky tone. He had always been a bit bothered by the dark anyway, so that probably explained his faint unease at the sight.
"Thank you for sailing Sea Erikos, you have reached your destination," Erikos said with a small laugh. He wrapped his arm around Daus' waist, smiling as he pecked his cheek
"Dork," Daus laughed as he nudged Erikos playfully, wrinkling his nose jokingly as Erikos pecked his cheek, though he honestly really loved the affection. "Where are we going first?" He asked curiously, looking up towards the other.
"Well, I was thinking we could grab some dinner at one of the outdoor places. I've got enough cash on me for a quick meal, and then we can go to the movies or something cheesy like that," Erikos said. He let the walkway down, smiling as he led Daus down
Daus nodded, already smiling brightly as he took Erikos' hand in his own, beginning to lead the other down the docks even though he had no idea where he was going. At this point, he was happy to just be standing next to Erikos.
"So, what kind of food do you usually eat? Other than fancy, godly stuff," Erikos asked with a small chuckle. He walked down the docks and towards the cement railing at the end of it
"Anything really," Daus answered, shrugging a bit as he looked towards Erikos with a small smile. He had no idea what he did to get someone like Erikos to like him, but hey, he wasn't complaining.
"Hm…we had seafood earlier, as is common for people who live right next to the ocean. So…how about something like tacos? Ooh, we could do pizza, too," Erikos mused as he led him away from the docks and towards the boardwalk
"Those are all really good options," Daus replied as he frowned faintly in thought, trying to figure out what sounded the best right now. "What about tacos? I haven't had those in forever," he added, humming in thought as he followed after Erikos.
"Tacos are good," Erikos said with a smile. "There's a good place here on the boardwalk that makes really good tacos, too," he said as he began to walk down the boardwalk. It was a rather old-looking collection of buildings, but it was vintage in a way that felt like you were walking through the set of a movie
"This place looks like a scene straight out of these old English movie tapes that my friend used to watch," Daus chuckled, motioning to the older buildings as he looked over towards Erikos with a small smile.
"Yeah? I've always thought they were pretty cool. They've got the whole 'vintage movie' vibe going," Erikos said with a small smile. He led Daus a bit further down the boardwalk, until they reached what looked like an outdoor cafe
"I like that too," Daus nodded as he followed after Erikos, intertwining his fingers with the other subconsciously. Just walking next to Erikos seemed to have a calming and comfortable effect on him for some reason
Erikos led Daus to one of the tables, smiling as he sat down. They were in front of a small restaurant, which was mostly empty save for the occasional person here and there
Daus sat down across from Erikos, looking around the small outdoor restaurant with a curious look before he glanced back towards the other. He leaned forward on his elbows, a dorky smile on his face as he rested his chin on the palms of his hands. "Have I ever told you how adorable you are," he spoke up, a lopsided grin crossing his lips.
"I'm not adorable, I'm hot. There's a difference," Erikos said, huffing a bit even though he was grinning like a dork. "You're the cute one. I can pull off hot, but not cute."
"Oh trust me, you can definitely pull off cute. With that smile and laugh…you're absolutely adorable," Daus teased, as he noticed Erikos begin to grin as well. He let out a small chuckle, his own smile brightening even more.
"I have a reputation, leave me alone," Erikos said with a small huff. He crossed his arms theatrically, but he was still smiling despite his best efforts to keep from doing so
"So cute," Daus mumbled as he pressed a kiss to Erikos' nose as his own dorky grin crossed his lips. It was honestly adorable whenever Erikos tried to act tough even though their own smile was on their face.
"Oh, leave me alone," Erikos huffed, sticking his tongue out at Daus playfully, still trying to keep up the "grumpy" act. He was on the verge of laughing, though he did his best to keep from doing so
"Oh, that just makes you even cuter, Erikos," Daus added in a sing-song voice, grinning brightly as he watched Erikos continue to act grumpy and tough.
"Okay, I give up," Erikos said, finally breaking as he laughed. He ran a hand through his dark hair, his fingers occasionally catching on a knot. He really should have brushed his hair a little better after the beach
"You look great, don't worry," Daus spoke up, waving the other off as they brushed through their dark hair. "I swear, literally every woman out here in checking you out," he added with a small laugh, motioning to some of the groups of girls and other's walking or sitting near them.
"Well, tough luck for them. I'm already taken," Erikos hummed before pressing a kiss to Daus' cheek. He glanced around a bit, noticing how some of the girls had shocked faces or had gasped
Daus laughed, returning Erikos' kiss by pecking them on the lips, causing some older or even elderly people to give them shocked looks. "Do the people here not like…this?" He then asked, motioning towards the two of them. Though, he didn't really mind if they didn't. He had enough of these kinds of problems in the past with old boyfriends.
"Nah, I've just never been seen with a guy before," Erikos chuckled. "I'm sort of well-known around here, and I've only ever been public with my relationships with girls. But I figured that it was about time I revealed my pan-ness to the world."
"Long live pan-ness!" Daus exclaimed softly, sure to keep his voice decently low so then he wouldn't be yelling in the middle of the restaurant.
Erikos laughed a bit loudly at that. "I swear, I need to buy a shirt or something that says I'm pansexual or something. I'll just show up to the beach or something and all of a sudden everyone I know has a heart attack," he laughed
"I would literally pay to see that," Daus laughed, a grin crossing his face as he thought of how that would look. "Oh, and you should definitely get some swim shorts with tiny rainbow flags all over them. Now that would be perfect." He added with a small laugh.
