Haskel woke up on cold, dry, hard ground. He surveyed his surroundings, quickly and efficiently, finding out immediately, that he was in what seemed like a vault. He noticed others sleeping beside him.

Alexsis blinked slowly from a darker, shadowed part of the room, sitting up on a cool, gravel wall. She jumped a tiny bit when she saw the bodies laying next to her and pushing herself up to a standing position, "What the fuck?" she whispered to herself.

Max blinked his eyes and looked around, everything was dark and it was cold. He quickly glanced at his surroundings and jumped slightly when she saw bodies of people laying next to him. He pressed his back to the wall and stayed quiet to see if there were other people in this place that were awake.

The walls echoed around her and the part of her that could see in the dark saw a few bodies move. She regained her balance on her higheeled boots and made her way to one of them, her steps echoing off the walls.

" That sounds about right." Haskel said, cleaning his nails with his multitool. He shifted slightly, his ears becoming a bit more arced and pointed, he grew a short snout, with wolfish features and two pairs of cruel-looking fangs. His nails sharpened as well as lengthened and curled in. He tried tearing at the walls, to no avail, and shifted back.

"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked, clearly not phazed by his new features

"Your reaction is appropriate." He said, tearing at the door.
"Oh, it's… unlocked."

"Of course it's unlocked," A tired Chloe said. "I unlocked it."

"Thanks for unlocking it then." Max said as he stood up and looked out the door.

"Either way." Haskel said, kicking open the large steel door and walking through.

"Where are we?" she asked, shifting against the wall

"I dunno and I don't care." Haskel said, brashly. "I'm gonna find my way out, though."

"If you're going to be like that, you might get yourself killed." Max warned, following Haskel.

"Trust me. I don't need to be careful most of the time." Haskel said, stepping over a tripwire. He made sure the others saw it too.

"Wait, do we all know eachother?" she asked, walking through the trip wire, burning it

"No offense, but I don't know any of you." Haskel said, trying his best to navigate the maze of concrete.

Chloe stepped over the burning trip wire, wary of it. "No, don't think so. I've never seen any of you in my life."

Max quietly followed everyone.

Haskel heard something tapping on the walls next to them. Something no human could have heard, but he dismissed it and kept on.

"What was that?" she hummed, turning to the wall she heard it from

"Hell if I know." Haskel said continuously listening and watching out.
