Alex crawled his way back to his tent, trying not to make a sound

"Oh, okay," Luna laid down in the tent, "Good night."

Zoe started to hum her little lullaby. "You remember?"

Luna nodded and hummed with her, "Of course I do."

Cyrus laughed. “Mental health day… There’s no such thing with our lifestyle.”

She laughed “that’s true.”

(Sorry! I was watching iron man 3 and went to the gym

Cyrus looked back at her. "I really don't know how much more I can take. I'm going to die like this, aren't I?"

(Lmao idk which one to watch next. I’ve practically memorized al three captain America movies, black panther, both ant man movies, all 3 avengers, and spider man are all fresh in my mind)

“If you die, I’m coming with you!”

"Don't get too attached," Cyrus managed, "I… I don't think I'm worth dying for."

She mumbled “… you… I…like…you…why….damn”

"I… I realize that by now, and honestly? I'm not sure what to do." Cyrus fixed his pale green eyes on her and sighed. "I'm sorry…"

“Why are you sorry?!” She asked incredulously “it’s not like your feelings are going haywire!”

"I need time to think. I hate that I'm leaving you hanging, but my thoughts now are that I can barely take care of myself. If I'm going to have a girlfriend, I want to have the energy to treat her like a queen," Cyrus said, "Because that's what she deserves."
He bit on his lower lip slightly, waiting for some sort of response, but his heart was fluttering so hard that he could hardly focus or wait for an answer.

She muttered something under her breath

Cyrus almost stopped her, but he figured there was nothing he could do. After all, he did just reject the girl he'd loved for years. He slid down the tree's trunk, then went to the bunker and laid face-down on the floor, repeatedly berating himself for being such an idiot.

“Uh, Cyrus, are you okay there?” Eira asked, frowning and walking over to her friend.

Uriah woke and and didn't know how long he had been asleep, outside none the less. He didn't feel as drunk but he needed some water. Climbing down the ladder he saw Cyrus on the floor, looking as stressed and overwhelmed as always. "What's up?"

"I'm such a dumbass…" he muttered, dramatically rolling over on his back to look up at Eira.

“I already knew you were dumbass, why do you say so now?” She asked.
