Winter hung her head. "Fine. I'll go back to the ship. But if you need anything, and I mean anything, I'm coming. Wait, does Essar know that I was injured?" Elias sighed a sigh of relief. "Here Winter, I'll carry you since the asteroid surface is swaying…" Winter reluctantly agreed. After Elias picked Winter up, he turned his head back toward Estelle, and mouthed a silent "Thank you…"
Estelle nodded with a small smile and took off towards the fortress, stumbling over the uneven surface. She entered and ran through the corridors. "Shiloh?! Essar!?"
Winter looked up at Elias with a small, angry look. "Why do I listen to you… You are no fun…" Elias smirked. "You need sleep. So, I'm taking you back to the ship so you can sleep. Your energy level is below that where you can function normally." Winter mumbled something incoherently, and Elias smiled and carried her to the ship. He walked in and set Winter down on a comfortable looking chair. She was already asleep. He smiled, and ran his hand through her hair. "Sleep well my Starlight. You'll need it. This war isn't gonna wait for us…" He bent down, and kissed Winter on the forehead. He stood back up, and turned and headed towards the cockpit. Before he walked in, he looked back at the sleeping figure of Winter. He thought, "She looks so small and frail from this distance…" He smiled at his own little mistake. "Looks can be deceiving… She may be small, but weak and frail, are not on that list… I'd hate to face her when she is back up to speed…"
"Essar?! Shilo-" A spike of ground threw her off balance and she slammed hard into a wall. Her shoulder cracked, and she screamed painfully.
Elias was in the ship, and he felt the ground shake violently. "5, get us into a clearing! Or we are gonna be crushed under a few tons of rock!!!" He darted out of the cockpit, and turned the corner. He sighed a sigh of relief. Winter was still asleep, and she hadn't shifted in her place of rest. He turned back into the cockpit.
Shiloh whirled around as the ground tore up beneath them. "Essar, hurry! Which one is she in?"
Elias was busy starting the ship up. He had the weapons systems on, just in case. He was in the pilot's chair, and he was struggling to recall things to memory. A look of confusion crossed his face. "Dang. I wish I remembered which one was the primary ignition…" He sighed and muttered, "Well, here goes nothing…" He pushed a button on the control panel, in which he remembered 5 telling him that it was the startup panel, but he hoped for the best. The ship's engine rolled over, and roared to life. Elias jumped up, "YES!" He yelled. Suddenly, he realized that Winter may have heard him, he turned the corner, and she was still peacefully asleep… He sighed a sigh of relief, and turned the corner back in the cockpit again.
(We have to wait on Lav now. And lol Elias, that's great!)
Essar hurried down a corridor. "Cell 1138!" He shouted.
"You go - I'll get her! I promise!" Shiloh yelled, scanning the numbers on the cells as she ran by.
Estelle clutched at her shoulder as she stumbled forward. Can't stop. Can't let them down…
Essar nodded and led his daughter down a corridor.
Shiloh found the cell and pounded on the door three times. "Hello?! Move to the side of the room!"
Teela was curled up in a corner. She lifted her head, pain pounding through her head as she did so. "Who's there?" She called out weakly.
"Move out of the way!" Shiloh repeated, setting a charge on the door that would take it off its hinges. The charge went off and the door slammed into the opposite wall, away from Teela. Shiloh rushed in and looked around, spotting Teela and running over to her. "I'm here to help you escape. I'm with Essar."
Teela gasped. "Essar!? Here?" She tried to stand up but her feet gave out from under her.
Shiloh quickly caught her. "Take it easy. And yes. We have to hurry. Can you walk?"
Teela nodded. "Lead the way."
Elias moved the ship to a clearing, that was close to the tower. "Hey 5, can you maybe, possibly, give me an estimate on how long we have on this asteroid before it kinda explodes? I need to know…"
Hi-5 stood still a couple of minutes before answering him. "I would say 20 minutes at the most."
Shiloh quickly lead Teela out of the door, looking back every few strides to help Teela along. "Hurry, we don't have much time," she urged. She turned a corner and ran smack into-
Estelle jumped, only sending more pain through her shoulder. She backed away from the figure only to realize it was-
"Estelle?"
"Shiloh!"
"Your shoulder," Shiloh observed quickly.
"No time!" Estelle insisted. "We have to get off of this asteroid, now!"
Elias slammed his hands down on the controls. "Frost!" He snatched his com link from his belt. "Shiloh, you only have 20 minutes. Get out of there as fast as you can. Are Estelle and Kula with you? Because they didn't come to the ship. They both ran off in the direction of the tower…"
Shiloh listened to Elias. Her heart dropped. "Kula's not with you?"
Elias' com link crackled. He heard Shiloh. "No… Kula isn't with us. She ran off in the direction of the tower, after I took Winter."
Teela blinked. "Who's this?"
"She's uh- uh- uh- a friend," Shiloh explained to Teela.
Estelle waved painfully.
"Estelle, quickly, take Teela to the ship. As fast as you can," Shiloh instructed. Into her com link, she said, "Elias, bring the ship over to the entrance of the fortress!"
