"Oh, I'm sure of it. Some weird chick in a cloak swung by once a couple years ago. Really weird vibes, you know? But I think she was interested in the stargate or something like that. Mythical artifacts and stuff. Though I'm surprised no non-humans have popped in to steal stuff yet," Erikos said as he began to walk towards the boat

Deleted user

"It's honestly no wonder that a lot of odd people have come by over the years…the stargate seems like something that they could honestly use, or something that even gods or other odd creatures could too," Daus answered, nodding in agreement as he glanced back towards the lookout. It would honestly be terrible if someone ever took the stargate and decided to use it for other purposes.

@_sleeby_rat_

"Oh, yeah. I'm guessing my dad's got some sort of protection spell or something around the lookout, but I'm not sure. I bet they just don't want to mess with a family that has a half demon, a witch, and a spirit," Erikos chuckled as he walked up the ramp and onto the boat

Deleted user

"Life tip of the day; don't mess with a family full of supernatural people!" Daus exclaimed as he walked up after Erikos, balling his fists up and putting them up towards his face as if he were ready to punch at someone. He probably looked like a dork, but he didn't really care what he necessarily looked like when he was around Erikos

@_sleeby_rat_

Erikos laughed loudly as he looked at Daus. "Oh god help me, you're too damn cute for this world," he said, laughing as he nearly had to stop and lean against the railing of the boat

Deleted user

"Cute? I was going for a fearsome, warrior aura," Daus answered as he motioned to himself, dropping his hands back to his sides as he pouted jokingly.

@_sleeby_rat_

"Nah, you're way too cute for the whole warrior thing," Erikos said, righting himself as he waited for Daus to get onto the boat. Once he did he lifted the walkway up before walking towards the front of the boat

"One day, I'll be six foot and have a six pack, then I'll be a warrior. Watch it happen, Erikos," Daus replied, chuckling a bit as he crossed his arms over his chest. He walked onto the boat, leaning over the edge as he studied the water for a few moments.

@_sleeby_rat_

"I will pay good money to see that," Erikos laughed before walking towards the anchor. He pulled it up before walking into the cabin, where he put the keys in the ignition and started the boat

"Oh please, everyone will be all over me once I'm a bit taller. Then you'll be begging to just kiss me," Daus teased, a small, devilish grin crossing his lips as he looked towards Erikos. He laughed softly, returning his gaze back towards the water.

@_sleeby_rat_

Erikos scoffed at that. "Bitch, please. Just wait when I die some crazy, valiant death and come back the most badass water demon you've ever seen. You'll be begging just to walk on my shores," he countered with a laugh

Deleted user

"Oh trust me, I'll be begging for more than just that," Daus answered, smirking faintly as he looked towards Erikos. He usually didn't flirt that often, though at times he tended to do it every once in a while, usually around people that actually liked him.

@_sleeby_rat_

Erikos' eyes widened a tad at that. "Ooh, someone's gears are going. Might have to hold onto that little thought, because I might just let you have a free sample," he purred with a wiggle of his eyebrows before laughing

Deleted user

Daus rolled his eyes faintly as Erikos wiggled his eyebrows, instead, turning his attention to the water as he laughed softly. Though, he felt his cheeks flush at the thought of Erikos actually agreeing to that.

@_sleeby_rat_

Erikos laughed a bit more to himself as he began to pull out of the river. He was a little bad at driving the boat in shallow water, but once they got out of the river and into the ocean he was rather good at driving the boat

Deleted user

Daus walked towards Erikos, watching as they drove the boat out into the ocean. It was amazing that Erikos was so versatile, since he was almost sure that if he tried driving the boat, he would crash it.

@_sleeby_rat_

Erikos eventually reached over to turn on the old radio a few feet away from the steering wheel. The radio began to play somewhat upbeat music, and Erikos hummed along as he drove the boat further out to sea. It was a nice night, the last of the sun's rays peeking out over the horizon while the moon was high in the sky

Daus leaned his head against Erikos' shoulder as he watched the other drive the boat out into the ocean, chuckling a bit when they began to hum. "Y'know, these past few days remind me of how much I've missed out on just by being a god. It would be nice to just be some carefree suburban guy," he spoke up, glancing up towards Erikos.

@_sleeby_rat_

"Well, you're pretty far from the suburbs right now, but I understand the feeling," Erikos said, smiling warmly as Daus put his head on his shoulder. "I mean, I've lived on the river my whole life. All my friends are over on the island, and no one but me has to take a boat out to get to the store or anything."

Deleted user

Daus nodded faintly in understanding, a small, lopsided smile crossing his lips. "I guess both of us have missed out on a few things then," he answered, chuckling a bit as he rested his head back against Erikos once again.

@_sleeby_rat_

"Yeah. But that's okay, because if you hadn't washed up in the middle of nowhere I wouldn't have met you," Erikos said, smiling softly as he pressed a soft kiss to Daus' forehead. He returned his gaze to the ocean, the shore behind them disappearing slowly from view

Deleted user

"You're right about that," Daus chuckled as he returned Erikos' kiss on their cheek before he moved towards the edge of the boat, peering down towards the water. Sure, he must have looked kind of childish, though he had always been really interested with the sea.

@_sleeby_rat_

Erikos smiled as he watched Daus watch the water. He thought it was kind of cute how interested in it he seemed. He glanced over at the horizon and the faint speck of the island growing larger the longer they sailed

Deleted user

"Is that it?" Daus asked, calling out towards Erikos as he glanced back towards the other with a curious gaze. Sure, it looked pretty small from where they were, but he was already excited.

@_sleeby_rat_

"Yep. Don't worry, it looks tiny now, but it's pretty damn big when you're on it. Think Manhattan big," Erikos called back, smiling as he did so

Deleted user

"Damn, I should come to Portugal more oftently," Daus answered, laughing a bit as he turned back towards the water, his gaze now focused on the island in interest.

@_sleeby_rat_

"You definitely should," Erikos said. He increased the speed a little, smiling as the wind whipped in his hair a bit. The island began to grow in the distance, now obviously larger than before

Deleted user

"You should think about modeling, y'know. With your blue eyes and hair in the wind…it could definitely work," Daus grinned as he looked back towards Erikos, chuckling a bit as he looked towards the other. They were honestly really good looking, which always made him wonder why they had even chosen to like him.

@_sleeby_rat_

"Nah, no one would hire some washup like me. Especially with the whole 'blue eyes and dark skin' thing. The only thing people would ever ask me is to prove I'm not wearing contacts," Erikos said with a small laugh

Deleted user

"Oh please, if they can't already tell that you're insanely hot just by looking at you, then they aren't worth your time," Daus chuckled, leaning a bit against the railing as he looked towards Erikos. Sure, at first their eyes startled him a bit, but they were a nice touch against his darker skin.
