(M’kay then, gimme a few minutes :P)
Amai walked home, breathing in the fresh air. He had promised to his grandma that he’d only walk to and from her house because he needed to get out more. He had agreed, not wanting to make her mad. Amai sighed and looked around at the scenery.
(Wait are we doing turns?)
(we set up a system so you respond with something random like pineapple then you go back and edit what you said, like basically dibs. Does that make sense? that way we don't have everyone respond at the same time. just type something as a place holder, doesn't really matter what because it would be edited out.
HUMANS ARE KNOW THE OTHER HUMANS AND VAMPIRES KNOW THE OTHER VAMPIRES, HUMANS AND VAMPIRES WILL MEET LATER)
(Oh I like that idea, alright. Can we just say dibs?)
(Oh I like that idea, alright. Can we just say dibs?)
(Ya anything just don’t put it in parentheses )
(alright)
(FYI as of right now:
Humans- Amai, Mina, Santiago
Vampires- Samantha, Dawn, Astrid)
Dawn sat in a tall tree, her back to the trunk and her one leg laying on the branch she sat on and one swinging off the side. She was humming quietly to herself, trying to escape the vampire drama that had consumed her. She stood on the branch against the trunk when she heard footsteps. Dawn glanced down to see a male human walking.
Mina was sitting on a park bench, minding her own business, when a gust of wind blew across her hair across her face. She looked up to move her hair out of her face and when she did she saw Amai walking under a tree across the park. She picked up her book and walked over, almost getting hit by a frisbee.
Dawn kept watching the human many thoughts flooding in her mind. Out of the corner of her eye she saw another walking, in the direction of the male. She squinted and watched her walk towards him.
Amai noticed Mina and walked to her. He smiled and said, “Hey, hows it going?” Amai put his hands in his pockets and cracked his neck.
“Good, and you?” She replied once she got close enough so that she wasn’t shouting, “What are you doing in the park, you’re almost never outside.”
Dawn fished her phone out of her pocket, dialed a number and quietly mumbled, "Found two promising specimen." She pressed end and leaped from the tree gracefully without being noticed. Dawn leaned against the tree and toned in to their conversation.
“I’m good, and to answer your question, Grandma made me promise to walk to and from her house whenever I visited, so now I have to come outside at least once a day,” Amai laughed.
“Well at least you’re getting out more.” Mina said with a laugh. “Have you talked to your parents back home recently? Mine are all concerned that I’m eating right and stuff.”
(Im gonna go to bed. I can barely keep my eyes open. lol Bye. :P )
(Night! :P)
(Nighty night sleep tight)
(Haha, thanks :D )
“Um… didn’t I tell you they died when I was young?” Amai asked, the question mostly directed to himself.
“I don’t think so, but then again I am very forgetful.” Mina said racking her brain for any information on the subject. She usually is in her own world writing books in her head when people are talking to her, so it’s possible Amai said something about that.
(I’m probably gonna get going too, gn!)
“Oh, well, if I didn’t, then yeah… my parents died when I was pretty young,” Amai explained. They stood in awkward silence for a moment until Amai said, “So, onto less depressing matters, what books are you reading lately?”
(Gn, I too am going to sleep)
“Well I discovered a really good classic called Little Women, but the vocabulary is a little difficult because of when it was written, so I watched the movie and it makes much more sense. Currently I’m reading Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.” She said lifting up the book in her hand. “Every now and then I read a book in my mother-tongue, but I enjoy the challenge. Are you reading anything?”
Amai nodded, “Yep! I’m reading the Percy Jackson books again. I just got the movies and decided to read the books again ‘cause, hey, now I can critique the movies more!” Amai grinned.
“I agree, the book is always better than the movie. They always get something wrong.” Mina smiled thinking about every book she’s read that’s been turned into a movie.
