"Hmm… interesting…" Lucas picked up a strange looking, unidentifiable trinket of sorts. He had no clue what it might be, but it looked fascinating.

Deleted user

"Would you like to ask them if you can make anything? I know I'd like to." the Doctor asked.

@Fraust

"Oh! Um, s-sure, if you want to…" Lucas carefully set down the trinket, being careful not to break it.

The Doctor lead them to a desk, where a smiling cleric greeted them in a pleasant tone. "Hello, would you like to partake in a worship session?" the reptilian creature asked. "Yes, we would." the Doctor said, gesturing to Lucas and Susan. "Have you taken part of worship before, or is it your first time?" the Delphorian asked. The Doctor told him it was indeed their first time, and the cleric went over a tutorial of safety and metalworking, then left them to make their own creations.

@Fraust

Lucas tried his best to remember how to work with the metal whilst doing so. He managed to make a small dog out of what he was given, but not without a few minor casualties. The sharp ends of the metal had cut his hands in several places, but he ignored it for the time being.

Susan had made an Astrosteel dagger, an elegant instrument more for show than anything else. The Doctor had made a plaque, with glittering dust designed to look like a nebula. When they were all finished, they were able to take their crafts with them and the Doctor decided to look at the shops for a little longer.

@Fraust

Lucas held the metal dog with one hand and held his bleeding hand against his shirt to try and stop it from bleeding any more than it already had. He followed the Doctor and Susan quietly as they examined the shops and the Doctor geeked out over them.
(I should probably go to bed now. Bye ^^)

(See you later!) "Doctor, the heat is getting unbearable. Besides, we've been here far too long, we should get back to the TARDIS." Susan said. "You're right. Lucas, come on!" the Doctor said, beckoning him to follow.

@Fraust

(Hi sorry I'm here now)
"Yes, sir." Lucas followed the Doctor back to the TARDIS, panting slightly and wiping sweat off his forehead. He felt like he was melting and the little metal dog had burned his hand because it had become so hot.

Deleted user

(Hi!) "Sit down, I'll get you both a glass of water." the Doctor ordered, walking off. Susan didn't seem affected very much by the heat but was nearly drenched in sweat, which she found embarrassing.

@Fraust

Lucas sat down on the ground, leaning against the wall of the TARDIS. He was feeling pretty lightheaded from the intense heat, but he supposed that the others were doing better since they weren't fully human.

The Doctor came back with a pitcher of water and two glasses. He poured them out and handed one to Lucas and the other to Susan. "Well, that was fun. Of course, I did say one trip, and I meant it." he warned.

@Fraust

(Doctor: God you humans are so frail)
"Thank you." Lucas accepted the water and sipped it gratefully, his head immediately clearing a bit when he did so.

"So, one trip. One trip to the future, now one trip to the past." he said.
(Logic skillz lmao)

"Not painfully human, just human. Honestly, the human race is the most triumphant of all, lasting until the end of time- oh, sorry, spoilers." the Doctor said. "And don't spoil the fun!"

@Fraust

"Uh… okay…?" I guess we'll just see how this goes, then. Whether I'll die or not, who knows? "Where are you taking this thing now?"

"Well, I met Shakespeare once, lovely fellow, great dress sense, or we could meet Agatha Christie, or sail on the Titanic, before it sinks, of course, or go to the dinosaur era, your choice! Or we could visit a Viking settlement! What do you think?" he asked.

Deleted user

"All of those are perfectly safe, trust me!" the Doctor said. It was a white lie, while those were safe as long as he was there, they weren't entirely safe.

@Fraust

"Well, the Titanic sunk and killed hundreds of people, dinosaurs are more than capable of killing someone, and from what I've heard the vikings weren't particularly friendly either."

Deleted user

"No, the Vikings were a highly civilised race. But how about this? Past England, where kings reigned and damsels almost constantly found themselves in distress." he said. "Setting coordinates for…. Earth…. England, erm…. 1190 AD. Ish." the Doctor grinned. They TARDIS took off, this time not jolting as much, but it was still a bumpy ride. They landed in a nearby forest, the green leaves letting light shimmer through gaps between the bunches on their respective branches.

@Fraust

Doesn't seem like I've got much of a choice here… Lucas stepped out of the TARDIS once it had stopped, taking in his surroundings. It was really quite beautiful here; less ruined by humans. The land looked much more natural and there weren't roads or factories destroying the environment.

Suddenly, an arrow hit one of the TARDIS doors. "What?" the Doctor asked, pulling it out. "How….. Unexpected." Susan said.

A young man with long blond hair and holding a bow walked over to them. "Very nicely done with the box, sir. I saw a Turk perform something similar at Nottingham Fayre. It's done with mirrors, no doubt?" he asked. The Doctor looked stunned. "What?" he repeated, looking at the man who had just appeared.
