"No." Vin shook his head. "Just me being stupid."
"No." Vin shook his head. "Just me being stupid."
"Is there something I can do to make you feel better?" Vien offered gently
"I'll be better in a few. Meanwhile, let's continue enjoying our picnic, eh?"
Vien sighed. "Okay." He didn't want to pull away from Vin but did it anyways, picking up his sandwich and taking a bite
Vin smiled weakly at Vin and took a bite of his sandwich. "This is great, though. Thanks." He pecked Vien's cheek.
"It's no trouble," Vien said, smiling a little at the kiss. He leaned affectionately against Vin, resting his head on his shoulder for a moment
Vin hugged Vien and squeezed him.
Vien smiled as Vin hugged him. He leaned against Vin for a moment longer before reaching for the glasses of wine. He offered one to Vin
Vin nodded and took it. "Thanks."
"You're welcome," Vien hummed before picking up his glass. "Cheers," he said, smiling as he clinked their glasses together
"Cheers," Vin repeated and drained the glass.
Vien chuckled as he downed the glass as well. "Refill?" he asked as he picked up the bottle
"Yeah." Vin raised the glass away from his mouth.
Vien poured Vin and himself another glass before setting the bottle aside
Vin drained it quickly and set the glass down.
"You can't be getting drunk, you're the one driving," Vien chuckled. He took a bite of his sandwich, feeling a bit hungry
"I know," Vin sighed dramatically and continued eating his sandwich.
"Good thing we brought water," Vien chuckled as he handed Vin one of the bottles of water
Vin took it and set his sandwich down. He cracked open the bottle and slugged a good portion of it down.
Vien eventually finished his sandwich, and he took a sip of his wine before grabbing the cheese and crackers from the basket
Vin chewed on the last bit of crust and kept looking back over at the wishing well. What am I expecting? If it's something as large as resurrection, it's not going to last long.
Vien set the cheese and crackers between them before taking another quick sip of wine
Vin looked down at the plates and grabbed some cheese.
Vien grabbed a few crackers and put some cheese on them before popping them in his mouth
Vin did the same and glanced back over at the well. Dammit…
Vien continued to eat crackers, trying to ignore the anxiety the distress in Vin's aura was giving him. Vin had said he was fine, so why couldn't he believe that?
Vin swallowed. Calm down. He looked away from the well and to his shoes.
Vien downed the rest of his wine out of anxiety before refilling his glass
Vin inhaled deeply. Calm down…
Eventually, Vien couldn't handle it anymore. "Why are you upset?" he tried to ask, doing his best to keep his voice level
