Vin chuckled and got out after unbuckling his seatbelt.
Vin chuckled and got out after unbuckling his seatbelt.
Vien got out of the car, smiling as he walked to the door of his apartment and unlocked it
Vin followed him in and inhaled gently. He loved the relaxed atmosphere of Vien's apartment.
Vien walked over to the kitchen, already smiling as he began rummaging through the fridge. "What kind of sandwiches do you like? I have some roast beef in here we could use," he suggested
"Mmm…" Vin walked into the kitchen. "Yeah, roast beef sounds great."
"Great," Vien said with a small smile. He pulled some roast beef out of the fridge before setting it aside. "I know I have that good bread around here somewhere…" he mumbled as he walked across the kitchen
Vin grabbed a little piece of the meat and popped it into his mouth. "Mmmm…"
"Dork," Vien chuckled, casting a glance at him over his shoulder. "Aha!" he mumbled as he found the good bread he had been looking for. "Homemade bread, anyone?" he asked, smiling as shook the loaf of bread a bit
"Hell yeah." Vin snuck another bit of the beef.
"Okay, here's that, help yourself. There's cheese and things in the fridge, too," Vien said, gesturing to the fridge before walking off to go find something to put their food in
Vin walked over to the fridge and pulled out the cheese and wine. Vin licked his lips but decided to save the food for the picnic.
Vien returned a moment later with a cheesy-looking picnic basket. He set it on the counter before pulling a few plates and some plastic wrap before beginning to make his sandwich
Vin put the cheese on a plate and wrapped it in the plastic wrap, then placed it into the basket with the wine. "Do you have any ice?"
"Yeah, there's a couple small bags of ice we can put in there to keep everything cold," Vien said as he pointed at the freezer
Vin walked over and pulled out one bag. He shoved it into the basket, and with many rummagings put the food on top of the ice.
Vien finished making his sandwich before setting it in the basket. He hummed in thought before grabbing two wine glasses and some crackers and setting them in the basket as well
Vin nodded. "Is that all we wanna take? OH! The cheesecake!"
"Right, yes, cheesecake," Vien said, turning around to grab it out of the fridge. "One jiggly cheesecake, coming right up," he said with a smile. The cheesecake he had pulled out looked a lot like a regular cake, though it was actually a sort of Japanese cheesecake he had recently tried making
Vin smiled. "I can't wait to try it. It looks great."
"You think so? It's my first time making one," Vien said, a proud little smile on his face as he placed the dish carefully in the basket
"Yeah!" Vin watched it go into the basket hungrily.
"Well, we'll just have to see whether or not I did okay," Vien said, his smile only widening a bit. He looked around, trying to think. "Do we have everything?"
"Uhh… crackers?" He looked at Vien.
"Yeah, crackers," Vien said as he reached into the cupboard and pulled out a box. He set them in the basket before double checking everything. "I think we might be good."
Vin nodded. "Maybe we should bring some water or something."
"Water works," Vien said before pulling a few water bottles out of the fridge and placing them in the basket
Vin nodded. "That's it I think. Oh, maybe something to do."
"Like what? Board games or something?" Vien asked with a small chuckle
"I dunno." Vin shrugged and looked around.
"Maybe we could just…sit around and talk? I don't exactly have things to do, other than myself of course," Vien said in a joking tone
