sorry
hers is v creepy tho
do you want the story?
wait no prob not
sorry
yes I do
okay so
Mia's grandma had two miscarriages, and two living daughters
and growing up, Mia's mom, Maria, and Maria's sister, would see this little girl running around and playing and just around the house
and none of them ever mentioned her to anyone because like…. "they're gonna think I'm crazy for seeing someone when no one is there"
and eventually they all talked about it and they're like "oh thank goodness I'm not crazy"
but there's like definitely a ghost or something. And it aged with Maria and her sister, so they think it's the ghost of one of the miscarried babies.
And the aunt (maria's sis) who lives with the grandma will go out in the backyard and hear the window in her husband's room open/close and make other noises. And she looks up and sees an indistinct figure of a woman
but they know no one is home/up there (Mia's grandma is in a wheelchair and can't get upstairs, there's no other women in the house. The ghost again, but grown up.
And let's see
what else
There was this thing with someone walking around upstairs when the aunt was downstairs and no one was upstairs (confirmed later that day), so like…. GHOST
also there's this set of small oily handprints (either a baby or small child, not sure which… this ain't my story lol) on the wall above the uncle's bed, and they can't get rid of them. And they know it's not from Mia or her sister because like…. their hands were too big when the handprints appeared and like
yeah
Mia's grandma's house is haunted and I'm never going back there

OH I FORGOT A THING GIVE ME A MOMENT TO TYPE IT UP
the ghost will reilluminate candles
like the aunt will blow out a candle when she leaves the room, but she comes back in and the candle is lit. They've confirmed this and it happens often

It's not even an evil spirit
it's just there

crazy Beloved vibes
None of you prob know what beloved is, and I'm not surprised bc it is a hard read
It's by Toni Morrison, and it's a slave story. So hard to read. But like. So good. I hope you get to read it when you're a senior or junior in high school.
I'll talk about it more because oof
It was rough emotionally and I will probably never read it again but wow. What a read.
