Lillian hated the hospital at this point. It was always the same blank walls, and the same worried feeling that was in the air. She followed Darren as far as she could before being told to stay in the waiting room.
Darren was taken away to be looked at. It was almost an hour before someone came out to talk to Lillian. “Lillian Phoenix?”
Lillian stood up her eyes weary with worry, "That's me. Is it time to come back now? Or at least hear something."
“You’re here with Darren Anderson right?”
"Yes."
(I got 7 new books to read and a new anime to binge all because I left the house for once. Huh.)
"I was raised to see the negative before the positive. Old habits die hard." Her sentences were short and choppy as to avoid bursting into tears. She was terrified but she would never tell him that.
(Lol)
(I am destined to be a girl with too many books.)
"Yes."
“Right this way ma’am,” the nurse led Lillian to a room where, as usual, Darren lay with bandage on his forehead. “Nothing too bad, just stitches. When he comes in for his next cancer appointment he can get those out,”

She didn’t have to, by now Ryan could practically sense how she felt. “Okay, why don’t we just relax,”
Lillian sat down next to him with a sigh of relief, "Okay, that's good. He's okay. Right?"
I wish it was that simple… She didn't answer, trying to calm down with a few deep breaths. This rarely happened but she'd never seen them change like that before. Change from bad to good, that was new.

“Yeah He should be fine. The cancer can cause excessive bleeding with injuries so don’t be worried if he gets a few more bloody noses,”

Ryan closed his eyes and tried to relax himself, taking some deep breaths and cuddling close to Belle who usually calmed him down.
"Understood nurse," Lillian studied Darren's bandaged head. This happened far too often for her liking. And she was always so helpless, or she could have prevented the injury in the first place. Either way she felt guilty.
"That was new. The changing from bad to good. That's never happened." She muttered under her breath. She wasn't completely sure what caused it. But she had a few ideas.
(Can I make a new character?)
(But working new characters into the story takes too longggg)

“One last thing and I’ll leave you two be,” the nurse walked over and handed her an envelope with her name on it, the neat blocky letters that coul only be Darren’s. “He insisted on writing this before we put him out,”

(I agree)
(Also you have a bajillion characters to pick from. Like already in the rp. Sorry camie.)

“Really? You mean the words right?”
"Well, the bad ones I'm used to. Those always showed up whenever this happened. But the changing from bad to good is new. I've never seen it before. And I think it's because of you." She smiled a little. "You make me better. Whole. Normal."
(I have no idea where anyone is anymore, Ginger is with Ryder in a private rp, Paige is out of time with Lil… and dats it.)

Lillian took the letter and looked at it almost sadly. She opened the letter up to read what was within.

Ryan smiled too, he only wanted to make her better. “We make each other better, but I’m glad I can help,”

It’s not your fault, I was joking bud by touching this letter………….. you’re it!
She ran her thumb over the scars. "Not sure how I do that, to be completely honest."
Lillian glared at him before chuckling, "Fucking idiot."
