Christina focused all of her power on her fingertips… A light bulb burst, causing her to jump.

Avery ran into the kitchen. "Gimme some ice cream."

Christina was getting frustrated now. Her eyes flickered between their natural brown and red.

“Wait. I heard ice cream?” Harvey said, running in. “Can I have some? Please?”

Aspen took her tub of ice cream and saw Christiana looking upset “hey Chrissy, you ok?”

Christina blinked and the red was gone. She looked at Aspen and nodded before hurriedly leaving.

Aspen looked worried. She started eating her ice cream. “Hey Tiny, I’m putting on LILO and stitch.” Her dad said. She nodded and sat beside him

Christina went to her room and sat in her bed, trying to calm down.

“Mind if I join you?” Harvey asked.

“Up to you.” Bucky said

Jordan saw Christina leave and cursed to himself. He always felt bad when other people felt bad. He stood up and ran after her. "Christina?" He said, knocking on the door. "Can I come in?"

Christina jumped at the knock. Her senses were hyperactive. Hold on… Hold on… One more second… The pressure dissipated and the buzzing in her ears stopped. She sighed with relief and got up to answer the door. She opened to door. "Jordan?" She didn't know that he'd seen.

"Hey. You alright?" The frightened look in his eyes did not match his "bad boy" outward appearance. "Can I talk to you about something? Do you need anything?"

"I'm fine," she assured him. "Did you…"

"Did I what?" Jordan stepped cautiously into the room. "Can we sit down for a little bit?"

Christina tilted her head to the side, but shut the door and gestured to her bed. "Yeah, of course. What's up?"

“Dad, I’m gonna go to the park.” She told h M. He nodded and she left the room. She hesitated before going to her room, making a decision she knocked on Christiana’s door

Christina looked from Jordan to the door. She hesitantly got up and opened it slightly. "Hello?"

“Hey! I was going to the park and it seemed like you’d like company. Want to join me?” She asked

"Uh… Maybe in a couple minutes?" She asked hesitantly.
