His heart melted and so did he. He loved her so much, he could never hurt her like how Hayley wanted him to. He knew what he had to do and he had a reason to do it.
Ginger broke off the kiss but kept her grip tight on him. She didn't want to let go until she had to.
"I don't wait for death, I seek it," yep December was really getting to her, "So what if they kill me."

āThen Iād be alone and sad⦠why would you leave me?ā
She finished her own cookie, nervously chewing on the inside of her cheek. She loved to bake but was terrified of ever sharing her baking because she wasn't sure what anyone would think about it. Would they love it? Would they hate it? She was never sure.
He pulled her close. "I never want to let you go." He whispered.

āThese are good,ā he had already finished the cookie, āCan I have another?ā

"I-," Lillian had no response to that, "I won't leave you. I just really don't like that they were force you to do the thing."
He pulled her close. "I never want to let you go." He whispered.
"Good to know for future reference," she murmured.
She let out a quiet sigh of relief. "Sure, if you like them so much. I haven't been baking for a while, maybe I should get back into it."
He chuckled. "When do you think she'll get bored and come looking for us?"

āYou should,ā he agreed, āThese are good,ā
He chuckled. "When do you think she'll get bored and come looking for us?"
"Soon. You should go before she figures out that I didn't leave," she said softly, looking into his eyes.
"Good to know you like them." She smiled, albeit a bit shyly.

"Oh they aren't? Please tell me how they aren't? Because I seem to be missing that part."
He sighed heavily. "You're right. I love you." He smiled and gave her a quick passionate kiss before finally leaving and shutting the door behind him. He returned to his room, ready for whatever temptations Hayley would throw at him.
"Good to know you like them." She smiled, albeit a bit shyly.
Ryan inhaled the cookie, finding it rude to take another he just sat back and looked around his surroundings. His foot began to shake as he did so.
āThey arenāt⦠they havenāt⦠they arenāt forcing,ā

āThey thjnk Fenex died in the war, they wonāt make us merge if there is only two princes,ā
"You can finish them if you want. I'm not going to have anymore." She stood, brushing crumbs off her jeans, and waltzed off to the rusted swing set, sitting down on one of the swings.

"Ryder! What took you so long? Is she gone?" Hayley asked quickly.

Ryan waddled after her, joining the swim next to her. His eyes were all over the place, unable to find just one thing to focus on.
"Woah hey, one question at a time. She wasn't leaving so I had to convince her." He lied so easily yet also so convincingly. "But yes, she's gone."
She folded her freezing hands in her lap, slowly looking around at her surroundings. She loved this place so much, why hadn't she returned sooner?
"And if they found out he's alive? What then?"
"And if they found out he's alive? What then?"
āI donāt know,ā he shrugged as if this was no big deal but as always it kind of was.

āCold?ā You could hear the rushed anxiousness in his voice.

"Good," Hayley purred, moving closer to him. "What do you wanna do?" Her gaze deliberately fixed on his lips.
"No, I'm fine." She smiled a little. She squeezed her hands together, trying to regain some warmth. Her nose and cheeks were a light red from the cold.
