"Although I will admit, autumn is probably my actual favorite. The last bit of warmth soaking into the ground with the breeze hinting at the cold to come. The leaves in all bright colors and the last minute trips before the temperature drops. It's like the world is starting to fall asleep." She sighed dreamily, watching her breath puff out in white and swirl away.
“That’s what I’m talking about, Fall is my favorite. It’s amazing and there are two different kinds of Autumn, the corn maze, Happy bright colored one and then the Halloween dark pumpkin one….”
(My phone tried to autocorrect Autumn to Autism… what is life?)
(I don't know.)
"It won't," Lillian muttered to herself, "I won't let it."
(I don't know.)
"It won't," Lillian muttered to herself, "I won't let it."
“You’re going to fight it? Scare it off?”
"I'm totally into the Halloween one. God, what I wouldn't do to recreate my witch makeup look it was so perfect."
"I'm totally into the Halloween one. God, what I wouldn't do to recreate my witch makeup look it was so perfect."
“I love the Halloweeen one. Also, apple cider is amazing,”
"Something like that," Lillian sighed, "I really don't know. I wish we could heal it with magic."
"It really is. Although I have to say, my Halloween this year was kind of shit because the rest of my friends did couples costumes with their boyfriends or girlfriends and we were all going to go as different famous couples and I was assigned to do Alexander and Eliza Hamilton but I couldn't find anyone to go with so I couldn't do it and I was pissed because I really wanted to be Eliza."
"Something like that," Lillian sighed, "I really don't know. I wish we could heal it with magic."
“My appointment with the neurologists is coming up, then they’ll tell me if I’m in remission or not,”

Ryan gestured to himself, “Am I not Hammy Ham enough?”
"No you're perfect." She giggled. "But you weren't around at Halloween so I couldn't go with you. Although I'm not sure how good of an Eliza I would be."
Hayley was so lost. "Crap… where…" She looked from her shred of paper, up to the house numbers, around the street, and back to her paper, which she kissed. "I will find you again."
She found the house and triumphantly knocked on the door.
"Hey if you are I get one more reason to hate December," Lillian pointed out, "If not you don't die. It's a win-win."
"No you're perfect." She giggled. "But you weren't around at Halloween so I couldn't go with you. Although I'm not sure how good of an Eliza I would be."
“Perfect as is everything you do,” Ryan thought, “Hey, if everything you do is perfect then I’m perfect,” he smiled slyly.
"Hey if you are I get one more reason to hate December," Lillian pointed out, "If not you don't die. It's a win-win."
“Hating December is not a win,”
"That's what I've been saying! It's good to see you finally believe me." She smiled playfully.

Ginger jumped at the knock on the door. "Who is that?"
"I don't know. You stay here, I'll check it out." He pecked her lips and opened the door. "Hel-What?" His eyes widened. "H-Hayley?"
"That's what I've been saying! It's good to see you finally believe me." She smiled playfully.
Ryan put the blanket down, “And I’ve been trying to tell you you’re perfect so good to see you finally believe me,”
"Ryder!" Hayley flung her arms around his neck and kissed him.
Ginger watched, her eyes wide with shock.
"Okay that is not true. I am anything but perfect." She crunched through the snow to the blanket.
He stepped back in surprise, frozen for a moment before peeling her off him. "Woah okay, slow down a bit. Hayley, what are you doing here?" Hayley was his ex, one of his more recent old lovers.
"Hey if you are I get one more reason to hate December," Lillian pointed out, "If not you don't die. It's a win-win."
“Hating December is not a win,”
"It is for me."
“No,” his eyes were barely open, his voice becoming slurred with the sleep he fought off for her. “December is great,”
"Okay that is not true. I am anything but perfect." She crunched through the snow to the blanket.
“Shh,” he laid back and rolled so his face was in the snow.
"I missed you. And I had to see you again," Hayley insisted. She kissed him again.
Ginger was sure that her heart was pounding so loud, that they'd find the epicenter of an earthquake on the couch.
She just watched, half confused and half amused. "Wait what?" She burst out laughing.

Lillian smiled and she kissed his forehead, "You haven't been sleeping, because of me haven't you? So get some sleep."
She just watched, half confused and half amused. "Wait what?" She burst out laughing.
Ryan picked his head up, the hair sticking out of his hat was tipped with white snow, the same pouder stuck to his eyelashes. He grinned and appeared to be chewing something.
He pushed her off again, this time holding her by the shoulders so she'd stay back. "Yeah, it's coming back to me now. I remember why I broke up with you." He turned to face Ginger, "Ginger, this is Hayley, my ex. Hayley, this is my girlfriend Ginger." He knew they weren't technically dating but whatever worked to get Hayley out of here.
"Are you eating the snow? Who knows what's been on that, ew!" She stuck her tongue out in disgust.
